I've booked Manchester to Sandwell & Dudley on an open return. Easy enough to go to Wolves and get on the metro if you want dropping off right at the ground but i'm going into West Brom for a bit of light refreshment

Ooh ooh ooh trains.  A big recommendation for staying round New St but getting the train to Hawthorns from Birmingham Moor St station which is 5/10 mins walk from New St station

 

Moor St is a lovely Victorian station which was refurbished in 1930's style with lots of period features.. Ace,& it's got a bar.
