Undoubtedly

Making a case for 15+ of these to be away trips, didn’t feel like half that this time last year

Is that not international break weekend?

Fcuk knows :)

I bet they tell fifa that's when it needs to be

Is that not international break weekend?

Not necessarily as the Grand Final was a week earlier last year to accommodate for the RL World Cup.

Clubs are allowed x number of requests to not have a home game on a certain date and even then can shift them around if mutually agreed between the clubs (as in the case of us never being at home on Easter Monday) so it’s far from implausible.

I didn't know, I was just guessing.

To be honest, the only thing worse than Rugby is rugby played at Old Trafford.

Rugby Football League interim Chief Executive, Ralph Rimmer

How is he not in porn????

So, we good for a Saturday game, or nailed on away?

Do teams share dressing rooms then?

One lot showering up and finishing off Whilst the others are getting ready?

Bolton arena across the road.

Similar to how Man City held magic weekend with the athletics ground next door

I suppose it's good for filling our coffers, but it does show what a tin pot sport RL is if they don't have a venue of their own that could home these games

Wheater's Field was a semi-final venue eight times between 1897 and 1912. But then Broughton Rangers moved to The Cliff.

River View Primary School now stands on the site, at 1 Wheater's Street.

Sounds like some shitty kids tournament one game on quick swap then another

Like sweep said good for ken and co hotel etc

Still can’t see any problem playing at home on the Saturday

Anyone who reads that without looking who posted it would know it was classic Malc

I have images of two fully kitted teams marching across from the Arena to the ground, then stood at them fucking traffic lights shivering for 5 minutes

wearing studs as well, and walking like fannys trying to stand up properly and not slip

That terminated in a bomb and riot proof bunker, filled with booze, food, cigars and copies of Razzle - designed as refuge for Garty, Eddie, Lofty and co. (in the days before the arena).

Hopefully 4 rugby league clubs will fill the ground. We've not had a 27,000 + full house for the football since the days of Sam Allardyce

So home first game to give the pitch recovery time, as otherwise we'd be home on the Tuesday and following Saturday in the usual calendar?

2nd game last season was the league cup, but if we get a home tie in that, we could have 3 home matches in 1 week, or 5 in 10 days if you include the 2 rugby games
