Wife and I went for lunch at the Harrogate one three years ago. It was 'OK'... Not great, not shit, just 'OK'. I doubt Jamie Oliver had even visited the place since opening night so you're paying for a name on a sign outside.

I didn't realise that there is a drop in folk eating out as is suggested in the article. Or is it just eating out in overpriced places?

Alongside retail, casual dining is one of the most troubled sectors on the high street. There will be more to come via admin or CVAs.
