Murder, chopping up bodies and burying them… how many calories does that usually shift TMGJ?

Eh?

We started watching a series last night about Denis Nielsen. If it covers the subject, I'll come back to you!

Thought it was a sideline business of all gardeners. Body disposal.

Down 11 lbs in less than 4 weeks. Might introduce some 90% dark chocolate into my evening snacks next week!! Rock n roll!!!

  • 2 weeks later...

First stone off in 5 weeks. Weight loss slowing down now. Will be happy with 2-3 lbs per month going forward.

Fuck that.

Too much like hard work.

I prefer to use a basic funeral pyre, from prunings etc.

Blame the smell on bacon butties.

17lb from 17 weeks for me.

That’s a nice steady loss! Feeling much better in yourself?

Yes. But hungry!

Ideally, another stone to shift, and then review.

Up that protein quota if you are hungry!!

Porridge or meusli for breakfast, usually, so decent protein there.

Started adding more beans and pulses too.

Perhaps an egg or two at lunch wouldn't go amiss.

Just a bit wary of overdoing the calories too soon in the day, and not leaving enough for the evening meal.

But then I end up hungry!

Been really busy clearing leaves in recent weeks, and maybe don't always plan my grub for lunchtime too well.

I’ve started my plan for Tokyo and hopefully be able to maintain a steady 40 to 50km a week.

started weights to help avoid injury but forgot how painful the first few weeks are 😂😂

dieting slowly kicking in. If I can be 98kg by Tokyo I will be buzzing

3 months of training and diet, you’ll be reet!! Bet you are mega excited for this one. Spending much time out there other than the running?

Fucking love Japan and Tokyo

An ace city to run around I'm sure

You should stay in Shinjuku

It's the most Japanese place in Tokyo for me

Unless you have guaranteed entry for Tokyo marathon I think you’d have struggled 😁

All hypothetical anyway.

I tried that. The food is OK. But I paid for extra protein and there was never anything like the amount that was advertised. Worth trying for a couple of weeks if you can get the 50% off though. I'd be interested to see what you make of it.

Not a chance.

Prefer making my own meals.

23 lbs gone so far, in around 6 months.

There's a place not far from me called Good Prep

https://thegoodprep.com/

The meals are ok but something like £8 each if you buy through their home delivery plans, which to be honest is a bit steep

However, there's an app called Too Good To Go where local shops sell food they couldn't shift before the use by date at reduced prices

So you can get three meals for £10 with that, so good to go every few weeks and and get 3 lots of 3 and stick them in the freezer for when can't be arsed cooking

The only downside is you don't get to choose what they give you

I might try it, like you say, just for the offer...

Portion sizes are my enemy so could work in my favour ha... will work out the cals in a bit.

I need to be at 2200ish really to make a dent but not die.

Always like the idea of a prep plan like this. I just don't have enough time to prep set meals. Then it's convenience food 🫣

Love toogood2go like a carvery treat every now again 😂😂

Dieting starts tomorrow properly. Time to get back in the good books at the doctors. Sugar is too high but for the first time in years all my liver function etc is good 😁

I am trying to do 3/4 runs a week and 3 trips on the bike. If I can’t shift timber now I may as well give up

From that perspective it's great. Stick it in the microwave for an extra minute than what it suggests though. And avoid the jerk chicken which sounds nice but is absolutely vile! 🤣

Plus - no washing up!
