I didn't say who was there first!

It was him, to be fair.

Back on topic, when are we having a whip round for the missing M?

These two Baronesses...

...how much over the years do you think they spent at the Wanderers?

Have Vernon Kay or Amir Khan weighed in yet?

Do you think they really approached the BN to make their statements?

They stayed quiet when we were going to be liquidated

I’m not sure what your beef is with these comments. It’s simply 2 titled ladies who have followed BWFC all their life’s and who are expressing concern at how the club is being run.

They were gonna ask Amir however as he is more halal than vegan sadly the masses who love the hysteria of all this don’t approve of him

have they though? Why not have you posting your opinion? Surely it’s more worthy actual fans.

Bit harsh- no reason do disbelieve them.

I do agree though, that the BN has approached them to embolden it's position, and has thrust the ladies into an awkward situation.

Paddy McGuiness has given his two penneth on the Doidge situation.

No think they were at Leverhulme park bonfire that night.

At least the banter on here is top six material

This thread was made for me. I was one of the lads who built that and I’ve met Tony Knowles. I believe he has a B&B in the lakes that’s supposed to be nice.

Never met the baronesses though.

These 2 have put zilch in over the years, they were on freebies all the way, and only when we were in the EPL.  Probably back to being Man Utd fans now.

taylor has watched us years

directors box at burnden

in my blurry memory, goes back to at least late 70s

doesnt make her comments any more useful

They aren't useful. But they are accurate. Perhaps raising wider attention to the plight of the club might flush out some buyers somehow?

I'm clutching at straws, but something needs to happen and quickly.

So, only came on a freebie?

chances are at that time she was attending as an MP, so yes, probably

not to say she didnt follow us before that

dunno really, but she did turn out to watch us

my "issue" isn't so much who are they and what are their comments worth, but that commment about their treatment of the BN and esteemed Marc Iles make it look like the BN wrote an article then worked through a list of famous Bolton fans till someone offered to put their name to it

and if that was the case, clearly most of the list didn't reply

I don't see why. They approached the BN - so says the BN editor.

ok, let's assume they did

do you think this was a direct quote?

"We have seen Marc Iles, the esteemed journalist from the Bolton News, having his credentials withdrawn after asking legitimate questions about the way the club is being run. "

seems a contrived statement to me

also, I wonder when they say

"We can no longer stand idly by and watch our club being treated like this. "

what can they do out of interest, I wonder

get stuck in ladies

I seems absolutely what someone would write. Christ I see that sort of thing all over twitter.

Why wouldn't someone write that, especially when they are going to ask said publication to publish their words?
