I can't share the confidence of others either that the EFL wouldn't let a club of our stature go to the wall.

I agree, it's about time a "big" club was allowed to fail, and disappear - it might work as a stark warning for everybody else. Sadly, we might be that club, if we're not, it will still happen in the next few years to somebody

1 Howard is the greatest of WUMs

2 All goes to Howard's plan

3 We are without a paddle if 1 is correct.

Were certainly not convinced, its just the only hope we have of a positive outcome.

Does anyone know when Howard said we'd hear anything if they were successful in recalling the shares?

Tomorrow afternoon or Weds morning?

If it's close of play tomorrow, then officially I'd guess not till Wednesday.   But unofficially I would hope Howard drops some hints on here tomorrow.

and the fact that they are the saviours!

folk have based an opinion (yet again) on what they have read (been sold), rather than any actual solid facts.

Howard said Anderson could argue the share recall clause, if so, then he couldn't sell and the club would be in limbo,

Looks like Howard has covered all possibilities.

Yeah, slightly concerning. Last week it was announcement will be 4:30 and no mention of any possibility why it wouldn't be made. This time we have multiple options.

Original letter was posted on the 19th (Tues), due to announce 4:30 on the 2nd(Tues). KA stated he received it on the 27th (Wed) so you'd assume 4:30 wednesday is the time.

If it's not done by then, we can probably give up on them as an option.

Hopefully Howard clears the position up as we near Wednesday.

Honestly, I don't think there is any way that Bassiani is a legitimate buyer.

If anything, I think the guy is still completely skint and probably took 10k off Anderson to start causing a massive commotion. Why else would the guy be doing a media tour and making outlandish claims to anyone who is willing to listen? There's simply no way he's amassed 50m in the last year or year and a half. And there's no way that he'd want to throw it at a football club going to league one if he did.

My thoughts are; What is the point in Howard making it up? We can't make a difference to the decision and if they don't get it we can't even confirm they are real. So hardly a what we could have had scenario.

Then H said Wolves model style along with other positives. I don't see why they'd feed that line out if it's not in line with their planning. It would make them look much worse if they come in and don't do it. We'd be happy with a Brentford model so they could have claimed that.

Not sure why folk think Bassini can get the deal done, even if he did he’d last about as long as holdsworth, remind have the EFL checked his financial situation and future proof of funds to run the club?

Well Bassini hasn’t yet set up a legal entity through which to buy the business (like first ventures) so that’s an immediate red flag to anything imminent.

I saw this when looking for date clarification for Howards group. As far as I can see there are no companies linked to Bassini on CompaniesHouse other than his Property ones. H must know this, yet said he expected him to complete.

The crazy thing about all of this is that Bolton will most likely be punished post-sale. In a year's time, Ken could likely walk in and invest in another club (scheme) and the EFL will do nothing. Only the club and the fans left to pay for this dishonest man's transgressions. EFL truly not fit for purpose.

Code for he is fucking potless.

That all said, l have to apologise to all the non-playing staff for the delay in paying their salaries and whilst there are sufficient funds in the club bank accounts to pay them, it is not currently possible until after April 3 for legal reasons and l sincerely apologise to everyone unreservedly for this and would again request their continued patience during these difficult times.

If the above was true on the 2nd of April, why did we have to be bailed out by the EFL

"After April 3" includes, for example, May 31 and December 25.
