@Traf  If it was me I would certainly would be looking for another job, not like it's happened the once is it, imagine having mortgages to pay etc...

Guessing most will walk when another job opportunity arises. The job centre are reluctant giving them good reason's why you have left your job ie not being paid being the main one ..Knew a few people who worked at Carillion who was in a similar situation.

Haven't you figured this out yet, Mantra? Confidential discussions have been going on with selective information being leaked to Howard for Howard to leak on WW. Howard is in PR but also a Wanderers supporter. I expect Iles will be following this and maybe Nixon too because there doesn't seem to be a better source.

I suspected Howard knows more than he's allowed to say on here, which is why I asked whether Iles could get the same info.

Howard has told you something extra because you were sceptical. What I don't understand is why people are leaking Howard info. Either he's a good mate of somebody involved in the deal, who trusts him not to say too much. Or as you said he's being given info to leak onto here, but I don't see who that benefits, except the fans. Which doesn't seem like something a prospective owner would be that interested in. But if they are then, good on them.

Have they ever not been paid?

How many times have they been paid late?

How late have they been paid?

You want to try being self-employed, if you think getting your pay a day or two late is a major disaster.

PS Anybody who sets up their monthly direct debits to come on the same date as their pay is due is an idiot.

It's not that black and white though.

These people have zero savings, very disposable income and rely on salary payments being on time for food, bills and getting through each week.

I know if my workplace were paying late, money troubles and in the mess BWFC are in, i'd have begun the job hunt long long ago.

Which is different to walking out.

We don't know the churn of staff over the last 3 years (except for thos on fixed term contracts of course).

Exactly.

And on the rare occurrence of late payment, cash advances have been made available to those needing them.

Don’t have confirmation of who that is. Just know that Kenyon and his backer are still active. Like I keep saying ... people are playing games right now ..

That sounds like Nixon speak for.........He hasn’t got a fuckin clue what’s happening !

Unless you've got a masters degree and six years work experience in which case you're a bona fide genius

Sceptical? I'm usually wary but Howard's information was so particular that it had to be insider knowledge. Some detail needed clarification and speculations concerning Michael James made no sense.

I'd say that Howard wanted to prove to me that he was  in the know. He's also said that he's not doing this as part of his day job and I have no reason to dispute that. But I do suspect that it is because of his day job that he's been getting the info as a kind of favour, perhaps. Is it helping Team Mystery Bidder? Not a lot I'd have thought.

Majority of people live pay cheque to pay cheque though. That's the sad reality of it.

It's not like it was delayed by a day or two due to an error. He CHOSE to not pay them for however long it was (can't remember exactly, but think it was around 10 days). That isn't setting up direct debits to come out on payday. That's causing people to default on payments and potentially fucking them over for years due to waiting almost 2 weeks for their wage.

The bottom line is that he caused an unnecessary amount of stress and problems for people because he didn't feel 'wanted'. He also probably knew all along that he'd take it as far as he could, past the court dates to try and get the best deal for himself, so there isn't really any excuse to delay paying his employees.

You’re seriously claiming that the only reason folk weren’t paid was because KA didn’t feel wanted?

If I were you I’d stay silent. Bob.

Alright Columbo well fucking done

howards factual insight around the whole liquidation business distress M&A process has been invaluable. His reassuring nuggets around the hopefully eventual owners has been invaluable.

Is someone struggling with the difference between KA and BWFC?

Howard, is it possible Kenyon is involved with your ‘mystery bidder’ ? Seen him a lot mentioned recently.

Or is that a completely separate party?
