Must admit I get my season ticket as I feel I’m doing my part

it hasn’t been financially worth it with missed games through work

Throw in the shit on offer it’s really not appealing, even home  games in league 1 was dire at times

I'll get my corporate ticket agian, but i also admit i would like to see parky gone and most of the team, but it isn't dependant on people leaving

You could have made a case for sacking Parky on 3 or 4 occasions during his time here

Even when we came up out of league 1 we went on a shite spell and nearly looked like dropping out the play offs

Don’t get me wrong, Ken’s transfer policy didn’t do him any favours, continually signing players that Parky didn’t fancy. Perhaps if all of our budget had been focussed on signing players that fit Parky’s style then it might have been different

Parky is tainted here now, he’s part and parcel of Ken’s era and it needs a full clear out for us to move on (including a large chunk of the playing staff)

If Williams and Richards are coming in then I assume we have a few quid to spend and rebuild the squad, if so then Parky has to be replaced for me just so we can all turn the page

I honestly fear for season ticket sales otherwise, it would be the lowest for nearly 30 years if so. 1 of our lot went today out of 10 with tickets!!

Shit or bust.

Has Bassini been ratified by the EFL yet?

Well, yes

Notice the bwfcst didn't show their hand yet

Perhaps their high net worths are on holiday

ALF

Clough loan spell

Oz

Doidge

Anotger 4 of 5 dozen who have come in and barely made the bench

Ken rarely holds his hands up, even he came out and admitted as much in his last note...

“I accept that l have made mistakes along the way and l have to admit that the player recruitment over the last two seasons has not been good enough, in so far, as many of the players recruited have not started, or even been included in the matchday squads this season.“

I'm not having a go or anything but I've heard this said and repeated a few times.  Has there ever been anything said or reported that suggested Parky had no say in transfer targets and he just had to work with whoever Ken gave him?

Ken said Parky chose all the players

Whether he picked from a list of one, who knows

Whoever picked em, they are cheap as fcuk and the strike force is division 4

Henry, walker, karacan, there’s plenty to chose from.

Think you're clutching at straws there pal.

Absolutely. All this talk of getting behind him/the club etc. Well let's see him get ratified and fulfill his promises of money first.

We don't even know for sure that ken has been paid off and his shares transferred.

Once it's sorted, and I'm confident that money we pay is genuinely going to the club then fine.

Nothing to do with getting behind the club etc: we don't yet know if we have one (beyond 8th May)

Most cheap as fuck, I bet a few cost us a few quid (Oz, Clough loan, ALF etc)

In fact, we are still spending £600k to £700k a month on wages so some of them must be paid reasonable money even at this level

It seems like we have had dozens come and go in Ken’s time, perhaps if we had gone through less players but paid them more, aligned to Parky’s style, we might have made a better fist of it

Anyroad, let’s hope the thinking is a bit more joined up under Bassini, or we just spunk millions and buy our way out of it

Serious question, how many of our signings over the last few years were through L.A agency? I genuinely don’t know but for a club with no money we’ve seemed to sign some players who don’t fit in with Parky e-fit

You assess him on his job.

For a long ball, cautious coach our set pieces both attacking and defending have been woeful this season.

Parkys had a lot of shit to deal with but the buck stops with him for those.

He sets us up not to concede and we consequently get twatted 3 or 4 nil

he wins the odd game then changes the side for the next game.

our last chance of survival against Ipswich the other week didn’t he play one upfront ..

awful awful manager

The ST aren't fit for purpose, shame as I see the whole set up as a missed opportunity.  The high net worths comment is from an age ago, no longer relevant true or not.

Let's hope the new owner isn't relying on fan unity.

How someone can look at the outcome of a weeks work and think that is acceptable is a disgrace.

absolutle disgrace.

he must be managing shit on purpose . That’s the only reason you can justify the absolute shite he instructs us to do.

when oztumer came on, immediately trapped a ball and set us off on an attack.

when he sees that stood on the touch line what is he thinking?

fuck me that was good

or

fuck me buckley would have given it away there

what a dick

Exactly. What does he see? Oztumer must be pissing himself on the bench watching the likes of Williams, Connelly, Buckley, Donaldson taking his place week after week.

I hope they get rid and give David Lee a chance

You think that level of ambition would persuade fans to return and  attract quality players? It would be another Sammy Lee appointment where the manager is just grateful to be given a job, absolutely not what we need.

Did we ever find out what the ST did with the money it took from people?

The new owner will pot PP for the reasons Mounts said but at least he got the point I was making.

U23s football in this country is a shit idea and gives a shit product and managing at that level has absolutely no relation to managing a professional team so we shouldn't just give David Lee the job because he's been what is seen as successful at that level.

I hope I'm not right with this because I always want people to do well but Connell will leave us in the off season and go to a club higher up the pecking order where he will play in their 23s and then go out on loan a la Williams and Connolly and Robinson and then end up scrabbling around for a contract at league 1 or maybe championship level at a push for the rest of his career.

He is a million miles away from being a player we can base a team around and at his age it shouldn't even be being put on his shoulders in the way some people are suggesting we do.

As an aside, I'd renew my ST tonight even if it meant having to sit downstairs.

I wouldn't class Connell alongside Williams and Connelly. He is championship quality all day long, they are div 1 or 2. He is also captain material judging by how he communicates and demands from others, a breath of fresh air in a team that lacks characters and leadership.
