i assume that as administrator is in place, rather than just a owner (possibly hiding stuff), this gives prospects more confidence in what they find.

He needs to get us into the prem for a massive profit.

He'll know whether £25m is worth the gamble. Even getting the debts sorted and putting us on an even keel, he may well get his money back as a minimum.

With takeovers taking as long as they do. Surely Ashley wouldn’t have time to complete two in selling Newcastle and taking us over before the start of the season. We can’t wait that long for him to sort out selling Newcastle.

Exactly, and it’s not going to be. So no chance of Ashley taking us over. 

Maybe he just wanted to get some ideas and inspiration from KAs accounts to make sure he maximises his return before getting out
