Only one who said it in those words more or less was Oztumer in that Instagram message. I assume that meant the takeover needed to be done so players could be paid so that they would play though.

Yet they have been paid partially before the takeover so not sure where it stands now.

Putting myself in their shoes, having been sold the idea with the rest of us that the deal is imminent and then constant let downs, I wouldn’t want to be taken for a ride after being convinced to play on the condition the takeover is done, then on match day it’s still not done.

I’d hope they’d consider that in their thinking but with only a few senior players to make that decision, who are all probably pissed off with the situation, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a team of kids at best.

I don’t doubt a few of kids aren’t ready for 1st team football just yet but it’s a fuckin good chance to show what they can do. 

I will be delighted to see 11 players giving their all for the cause too. It’s been far too long since we’ve seen that

One of my lads has a mate who plays in the 18s and who apparently might be starting tomorrow. Lot of pressure on them but there will be some who thrive and grow because of it, let's hope it is most of them.
