If anyone thinks I am being in some way racist, that’s up to you. But I sat with 2 Asian brothers (siblings, I’m not being urban) only yesterday in a plumbers merchants, and they said they don’t trust the jab. They laughed it off.

It will not be all Asians, of course, but there’s no need for anyone to tiptoe around what is plain and obvious.

I don't consider myself as racist/sexist/homophobic etc. but as you say, the facts are plain to see... it's happening over here in Leicester also... they just don't get it.

All this reminded me of an old joke: A bloke goes to Bolton Station and asks for a ticket to Delhi, after a couple of hours going through the timetables halfway across the world the man in the ticket office fixes him up. He then went to Delhi Station and asks for a ticket to Bolton, immediately the bloke in the office says "Trinity Street or Moses Gate?"

They aren’t the only ones refusing the vaccine. I know a couple of white folk who won’t have it because they’re scared of needles and their tinfoil hats have become wedged on. They’re cunts too.

But, percentage-wise, vaccine take up in the Asian community is much lower than the take up elsewhere.

Its clearly cultural, religious or possibly both.

A pandemic that restricts people of all colours and creeds should transcend individual cultural desires. It infects you whether you pray to Allah, God, Buddha, Vishnu or Ian Evatt.

We are, in the face of Covid, just massive sacks of flesh and bone.

It has fuck all to do with colour and background.

So been told that Bolton FT want all staff who work or live in Bl1 or BL3 to get a covid test now.
