That was one of the loveliest things to ever happen. Stood in my garden sobbing like a baby! Proud to work for the NHS 👏👏👏👏❤️

To what end?

If in the course of your work,  the results lead to a specific recommendation then you do it.

Whether or not management follow it, its up to them.

As a member of SAGE, they bring their expertise and recommendations.

They may or may not be the best course of action in the round, but they will act as their bit of science dictates, otherwise they wouldn't be doing their job properly.

Ministers must then take on board all scientific aspects together with economic etc and make a decision.

I’m thinking more these individuals doing it for some limelight which of course our media will love

anyway hopefully boris & co will just ignore

If you think back to when you were 18 or early 20s and your owd uns had already been vaccinated would you have gone and had it done if you'd lived through over a year of it with no-one your age being ill with it that you knew and you having spent all that time with your peers at college etc?

Get vaxed, bloody bastards!

Point 1 - If we get locked down it isn’t going to do any good for race relations in the town.

Point 2 - I despise freedom of choice being removed but could they not restrict access to flights, trains, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets, places of public gathering etc to only those who have been jabbed ?? Those who don’t want it can live by their choices without those who get vaccinated having to suffer. Dedicate a portacabin ward in the hospital car park to the anti-Vaxxers and don’t let them in the main building.

Agreed.

What about the cunts who couldn't be trusted to isolate when they came home?

You said it.

Rivers of blood?

It'd be forgotten in a week.

Frankly - genuine medical exemptions excluded - if some 65 year old rocks up at A&E riddled with corona, but having refused the jab, I’d be making an example of them.

I'll be 65 this year.

No way am I going to rock up at A&E with covid... I am not going to lose my life to a fkkin microbe and that is why I wear masks, sanitise and always call out anyone who do not follow the rules... I gave the sales bloke a royal bollocking and walked out of "Carpet Right " yesterday because he was serving someone without a mask, at least he has now been informed he is a cunt.

That is what these retarded and lazy selfish bastards need to get their heads around, I saw a lot of rule breaking outside our own football ground publicised on you tube including our own players... get a grip is what I say.

Hit the bastards hard... volcanoes, fines, gaols, stocks, the rack, the lot. Round the low life dodgers and slackers up and put them through a mass vaccine sheep dip. Tell them a hot sterilising poker up the arse is the alternative.

It is a good idea, and it's the way that we're going to go, basically stamping out any small outbreaks. Anybody who doesn't think it's a good idea needs their bumps feeling. It'd be a shame for Bolton, as it's been on lockdown since about August, but I guess it's just tough shit really. The thing is, any further lockdown is going to see more and more people ignoring it and flaunting the rules, which obviously doesn't help anybody

Its not the way to go

But its probably the only way for bozo to go

Its the only game in town for the useless sack of shit

It was fucking obvious folk coming in from the sub continent were likely to bring the variant in, but no, we were assured our rules were strong enough and folk would isolate

By all means, blame the twats who didnt, but it didnt take much predicting that the rules would be broken

If they don’t open indoor hospitality in Bolton, folks will No need to lock down and, from my current perspective, a bad idea.

Indeed

Almost as bad as not red listing india

If it wasnt predictable, id have sympathy for the decision makers

Bit of light relief but young lad rocked up at work today for a job interview and when asked to put a mask on he said he was exempt because he had a mouth ulcer and it would make it worse.

Status: still unemployed.

Bolton aside - this rhetoric of young people don't want to get jabbed and the government putting out videos is a joke considering no young people (illnesses aside) have been offered the vaccine yet. Yes it will vary through demographics and age groups but I'm 24 and don't know a single person who wouldn't have it if offered.

Maybe they were scared of having the race card thrown at them as always if they red listed India ?

BAME don't half blame a lot of COVID on others.

I'd have put a bottle of domestos on the table and told him to gargle or put a mask on

What happened to the "Whack a Mole" approach?

Lock it down

lockdown is over it has been for weeks for most

its only inside Pub's and Restaurants

everthing else is a free for all

Should we start a vigilante group?

We could go around handing out leaflets and bashing tambourines asking people in a most polite manner to wear masks  and get a jab.

If they want to argue then it's up to them

If they're scared of making decisions, they're in the wrong job

One never knows what goes on behind the scenes.

Someone needs to tell him that wearing a mask is to prevent spread and not to stop you from catching it.
