I suspect mr blondie will be expecting you to open up shop at some point.  Especially if you get a few stitches thrown in after you’ve calved.

She just needs to hang her pastie out of the window every morning, once the whistling noise stops, she’s probably fair game.

I think it'll be fine - I doubt we'll lock down again, I do think that the June 21st "unlocking" date will get shoved back a few weeks into July or possibly August though.

It's not looking great for @boltondiverprediction that the dates would be pulled forward though

I don’t think it was a prediction, nor to necessarily be brought forward. I can’t recall the details. @escobarp to help out?

If the data continues to improve, I can’t see Boris holding to the dates outlined.

Thanks for that. “Varied”, rather than brought forward, then. Could be right. Hope not.

Let’s have a 50 quid for charity if the main dates in Boris’ roadmap get moved forward or not?

If the data improves I assume means dates can be brought forward?

Theres still a chance. The Indian variant has sent about 20 people to hospital. I wouldn’t call that a crisis.

Local lockdowns commencing up here. Midlothian getting it Friday as things stand which puts a dampener on my game Of snooker on Tuesday night if it happens.

but on the following Saturday I’m out in town with two of my mates both from midlothian which highlights the flaw in the master plan.  Local lockdowns are a waste of time.

it’s time to keep getting folk jabbed as fast as possible and crack on.

On the plus side, you won’t have to play snooker. 👍

At my lads school, the whole of year 11 sent home, many have to self isolate for 10 days after coming into contact with 3 confirmed cases but waiting on a few more with positive lateral flow tests to get their PCR done.

Join the club.

It's shit.

Half way through assessment exams. Now have to go back in during half term and fit 7 or 8 days worth of testing into 4 days. Assuming they can go back by then.

Inevitably, some tests are going by the wayside.

Not the school's fault, but they've been through enough now- time to draw a line under it all, sack the exams and just do whatever CAG system is set up.

Not enough evidence though to see a progressive light path to the teacher assessed grade.

Government communication at the January lockdown said schools could have their own tests if they chose to do so, but it wasn't compulsory.

I presume that the majority have done, but alternative methods must be available, especially to account for such an event as this. Some mocks were also done previously.

As things are, they could go back at half term, and potentially be told to isolate again the next day if they're unlucky to be near another positive case.

Not seen him get like this before- sooner or later some of these kids are going to flip.

Covid was the 9th leading cause of death in England last month, in Wales it was the 18th.

Heart disease was the biggest killer.

And the Media are still scaremongering.

The Government could nip that in the bud if they wanted to........

You are correct, and I think in some aspects they are trying to, but it seems the great media of ours won't let it go, its like there's nothing else going on in the world, a bit of positive data from the Government, relayed by the media to the public wouldn't go amiss.

Driven by data they say 😏

Data not Dates
