Not heard that- she only mentioned Pfizer.

Mr Grey- the anti vaccine brigade is one thing, but until the necessary level of overall vaccination is reached, then the risks are still there. If there are too many of the cunts preventing genuine herd immunity, they could well be fucking it up for all- not sure what the answer is then.

Hospitals are empty

that was the fucking point.

The vaccine is a miracle and is now proven to work.

Theres too many folk looking for an excuse not to get back to work.

Crack on. Get a jab.

Doubt that there are that many that don't want to work, especially as furlough ends.

Certainly consider benefit cuts though for those that won't have it.

As it started later.

All the oldies who it was doing the real damage too are fully protected.

The ones that are refusing the vaccine are being found out and for me that’s just natural selection at play so fuck ‘em.

June 21st needs to be a big fuck off party, and every cunt is invited.

When is your second jab due?

July.

But I’m in an age group where I think Covid has claimed about 15 lives.

Im happy to risk it with my current protection levels. (Famous last words, probably 😁)

Daughter took the usual school lateral flow test and was positive so did a follow up pcr test which confirmed it. She feels fine as do the rest of us and we’ve tested negative. She’s not had a single symptom.

Education suffering again, wife can’t work and has one of those contracting roles where she gets paid well for intense work but then has no work for a bit - she’s now had to cancel the only work she had this month as it’s site visits so she’s no income for the month. I’m managing to half work from home but my unscheduled absence is affecting things at work which will affect my income next month.

I’m double jabbed and the Mrs has had her first one. We’re sat here with seemingly fuck all wrong with us but selfishly I’m left wondering whether this is really the best tactic and would the country not be better letting things take their natural course now that the vulnerable are jabbed up ??

I also wonder how many people actually follow the isolation rules ? It’s tempting to bend them but we haven’t and won’t.

This is it for me now.

Theres no evidence Covid affects people under 60 badly at all. I accept that long Covid exists but I think we’ve done enough now to not hide away.

June 21 should be the end of all restrictions.

Foreign travel still probably a tricky one but Airstrip One should be free next month I reckon.

I'm not sure that's why it has a different level of efficiency....

Unless this Indian variant causes massive issues, which in not sure it will, then I think we'll be fine for releasing next month.

Like it or not, these knock on effects for the likes of your missus are going to carry on. That's why it's so vital we keep getting jabbed.

These individuals who don't isolate etc are just prolonging the pain for everyone else.

There is clearly a desire to move forward, and rightly so, but the idea that the olds are vaccinated so no on else will suffer is hugely flawed- both from the possibility of long covid for recovered patients (young folk) which uses up vital NHS resources,  and also the possibility of new variants because of a pool of transmission.

John Smiths Bitter Vaccine will solve that problem.

John smiths now that gives your holts a run for the shittest beer going

Its still not as bad as Holts, that is proper shit ale.

Should be used as a covid test. If you can sup it, your sense of taste has obviously fucked right off

John Smiths?

If I was stuck on an island Castaway style (the Ollie Reed one) with nowt but John Smiths I'd be trying to ferment coconut milk or going teetotal.

It's the worst 'ale' on the planet.

I wouldn't drink it for free.

My cousin was a chemist for whoever brews the shit and they used to get an 'allowance' of product for nowt every year, he had thousands of cans in his garage stacked up gathering dust - he couldn't give it away and wouldn't countenance drinking it himself.

But where do we draw the line ? Are we to spend the rest of our lives like this or do we accept that it’s now with us and once the vaccine program is complete we get back to traditional normality ? And when is the program complete ? Do the entire population need to be jabbed or just certain demographics ?

I’m at the end of my tether, particularly with the gestapo (I mean test and trace) who can’t even get the dates correct (that’s another story) but for now I will follow the guidelines the government give as I’m a responsible member of society unlike those who refuse the vaccine or those who blatantly break the simplest of rules without an ounce of common sense or consideration for society as a whole.

I’m not a fan of the mask but it’s not unreasonable table service no pissing about queuing just wear it for toilet not hard

Don’t have a problem with it at all just don’t understand it when folk are sat cheek by jowl not wearing one when supping. Not sure what difference it makes having to wear one when moving around inside the same space? I’ll go along with the rules if it means I can sit and have a few pints and go for a curry

Much prefer the set up now maybe different once the footy is back and pilling into a boozer but hate queuing up and locals standing about chatting with a dog at their feet

Yeah have to admit I do although I’ll be glad when the clubs are open again and the late crowd aren’t clogging the boozers at 5pm. There were some seriously pissed folk wandering around late afternoon. Girl walking down Peter Street wearing just bra, knickers and high heels face planted right in front of me and Mrs Manc. Her mate was carrying her dress

You'll be fine once the vaccination programme has done all adults. Obviously the sceptic numbers will be the issue- so long as that figure of around 90% is reached then we should be fine.

Iirc, age groups done so far high a very high take up rate, so hopefully that will continue and the herd immunity figure will be reached.

Really is all about the vaccine now, and daily numbers are good.
