I've emailed the EFL, asked them for the same referee for the test of the season, if its not possible, send us Uriah Rennie

And which game have you earmarked as the test of the season?

That said, when the free kick hit the Tranny player in the face and he stopped the game, he gave us an uncontested drop ball from which we continued to press Tranmere. What is that all about?

That's the rule now.

Thought we profited from a referee who allowed us to actually tackle the opposition without calling everything a fucking foul.

He was still shite though.

That free kick for offside in the first half we took from inside their half, deary me 🤣🤣🤣

Someone in front explained that where the player touches the ball is where he's offside not the line of the defence. So coming from an offside position our half and touching the ball in theirs means the free kick is taken from there.

I really enjoyed that first twenty minutes when we knocked it about. Game evened up a bit after that but well pleased with our performance.

New lads brought confidence, passion, enthusiasm and commitment to the team.

Defo something to build on, I can see a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.

If that’s the case, I’ve learned something. When did that come in?

Best we’ve played for a while.

Glad to see we’ve gone back to playing football instead of launching to Murphy (despite the odd grumble when we went back of sideways when the forward pass wasn’t on)

that bryan is a proper player.

used ogrady properly (holding it up and laying off)

Hamilton really involved second half

Politic cracking player

Cant complain with that performance

If we finish with more points that Tranmere or Southend they should close the doors and turns the lights off, and give us their points the shit cunts

Let’s enjoy today but they are the worst team I have seen for a long long time.

A realistic goal is to try and build momentum and catch them up.

Thought Bryan was excellent at CB and even when he was caught short he did the right thing and pulled his man down.

Best ref we’ve had this season let both sides get away with plenty.

PS if that not a big day out for Tranmere I’d hate to see what they are like at Crewe or whoever their big day out is. Lots of heads went in south upper ha

honourable mention to O’grady. Bloke tormented their right back and others who tried to help

Excellent stuff today. Loved the way we hunted them down. New left back and new centre half had great games.  As did O’Grady.

Proper enjoyed that. And a decent atmosphere. Who’d have thunk that had anything to do with what’s happening on the park?😀

How shit were tranmere! 🤣

I'd fucking love to finish on more points than them. Echo rudy's message... (see what I did there)... Its time to pack up shop if we finish above em.

The rukes have changed, the free kick is taken from where the player 'interferes' rather than where he was offside.

we have had a number of free kicks in the 'wrong' half this season.

thought the ref was ok today, let a lot (from both teams) go.

Imagine watching that football from the lower tier next season 😉

I will. Just not every week.

Probably would have missed today because  it was a bit cold

Much more solid today. I thought O'Gravy was excellent, as were the new lads, O'Gravy never gave any of them on their left.

Matthews had his quietest day for ages, they were that shit. A great goal by Politic to start us off.

All in all a good performance.
