I went to head office for the first ime in 2 months yesterday

H&S guy temperature checked me and gave me a mask on the way in, then one of the girls from accounts gave me a hug (very decent D cups with an arse to die for) and the lad in design high fived me.

Honestly, by September we'll have forgotten all about this.

So after months without any contact from work I gets a call

can I go in next Wednesday for a meeting on a view to start back 1st week in July but with big changes to my role

we shall see

Employers paying NI from beginning July

This is where the fun starts

My advice would be if you need the money, suck it up and get your CV circulating

I'm already on it

Tbf I’ve utilised the time well making enquires and exploring options

Not much about for the role I currently do without putting some commuting in (always had jobs relatively local)

easy option would be take some time out which would mean using savings but I need some routine back

Funny that, cos the odd time I've done tod through rochdale, it's been a decent run

But its 45 minutes door to door

Prob loads less than many but I've had enough of it and will save a chunk as I mentioned

Course it does mate like I mentioned I’ve never done long commuting in jobs but I’ve worked unsociable hours which also contributes to quality of life.

Used to travel into manc, do the job, come home.

Played 5 a-side on Friday evening, into the pub after for a beer or two.

Usually be pepped up a bit from playing, so didn't really get off to sleep before midnight. Then up at 2.00am to help our kid on his Saturday double milk round.

Would feel absolutely evil all day Saturday, spent time at matches on a different planet.

Not too long after started with seizures.

Fuck that for a game of soldiers

Health & family come first mate

It’s easier to say now I’m more financially comfortable but over the years I’ve missed out on valuable family time working daft hours

If there were any jobs going that involve posting sarcastic, twattish comments on the internet all day, we'd all be millionaires.

Oh I don't know, Katie Hopkins is bankrupt apparently.

So it is

Cheers for that

Wonder if you know this

If somebody is dismissed, is notice paid at furlough rate or normal?

surely it must be at normal rate........not that I know, but i presume it would be as per the terms of the contract they signed, so therefore "normal" rate
