December 4, 20223 yr I wonder if anyone else has experienced similar recently, but the last 3 or 4 visits I've had to different pubs around the NQ the lager has been absolutely shite. Flat or off or barely chilled. Maybe just bad luck but had some honking pints (and hangovers!) from round that way last few months.

There's a tea room that's opened up round there where you have to dine in complete silence, no phones allowed, women discouraged from wearing lipstick or perfume, have to take your shoes off, open and close the door as quietly as possible, only maximum of 2 people allowed in a booking.
