Been ploughing through some lovely Croatian dark beers at 7.3-7.5% in Dubrovnik last couple of days.
Baking hot sunshine and cold beer, can't beat it for late October.

Enjoyed the rivi tap takeover at one of my locals. Bit of a thick head this morning though from the DIPA. Should've nicked the glass too, fantastic branding. 

 

Sours aren't usually for me but had a half and it was good. Came home with a can of the imperial.

Got some slabs of 24 mixed 330ml cans of Goose Island IPA/Midway for less than £15 a pop so craft stuff has taken a back seat at ours for a couple of weeks.

I’ve put that many logs on the fire today it’s making my red wine evaporate. Need to see if it does the same to my bottle of port

That and Tomislav, Karlovacko, Vukovarsko and Gricka Vjestica amongst others.

Old Peculiar is one of my favourite beers, San Servolo is similar to it.

Them others don’t mean anything to me but having supped plenty over there, I must have had some/all of them.

Love Croatia, possibly my favourite country. It’s certainly up there

A few drinks in but just having a Rivvy In The Mouth OF Madness and it's awful. Been a long long time since I did a sink pour but this one is going to be a battle.

Ploughing through beer that strength cannot end well. 

Rivvy Army Of Darkness imp also deeply underwhelming, dunno whether they are just trying to do too many different varieties but the quality across the range is just not there for me.
