Seems to be pushing it for ale.

Cider on the other hand. Had chance to have a look around Cornish Orchards press and came through at 15% and they watered down with spring water to 8.4%.

When I pressed my own came out at 9% with no added sugar. That caught out a few .

Did you use the natural yeast or add a specific one?

Could well have a do later this year.

Local brew shop recommends yeast sachets for champagne . Neer failed yet

Cheers.

I use that sort of yeast for some of my wines. Does produce quite a high level of alcohol- only big difference is I add extra extra sugar to get to a wine strength.

I love Lagunitas

The 6% Aldi Scrumpy is going down a treat.

4 cans for £2.49, so can get pissed for a fiver......

May I take it that jackhammer at £1 a can is decent?

It’s been a great journey chaps but I am hanging up my tankard as a return to work is nigh

Godspeed you buncha pisscans.

Wife sent me a vid of a place selling it at a quid a go, must pay it a visit 😉

I used to pick it up in 330s at 4 for a fiver, rawtenstall asda

Then it disappeared, which was a real shame

Where?

On the Hobgoblin tonight. Reliable.

If you're getting the big tins of Jackhammer at a £1 then you buy as many as you can possibly get because you'd shift them for double easily.

On here  :)

anyway, ive got 12 cloudwater in my basket for 42.75

And i know its a good deal

But i still have issues at 3.50 a can

Which Cloudwater?

Got myself a couple of Grimbergen the other day. Love that but it's strong as an ox

Range

4 of em

6 of the dry hopped pale and 3 x 2 others

If anyone is that way inclined or your partners are then the Bolton Gin company stuff is decent but you might end up paying £20 for half a litre rather than supermarket offers of Gordon's pink of £25 a litre.

Not enough of a connoisseur to say if it's worth paying the extra, but it's local and even some corner shops seem to be trying to promote it rather than the big brands.

Bargain brands Pemberton Wigan

I was leathered last night

Just had an email off Amazon telling me the drum kit I bought at 12.43 this morning will be delivered on Wednesday. Not a fucking clue.

Avoid bourbon, is my advice.
