Was £9 but maybe now go up to £10

Loads less than normal as I’m not going for a drink after work and spending London prices on a couple of rounds. Plus, this week not had much at all as being on furlough don’t feel the need to ‘unwind’

I am bloody bored though. Need a hobby.

That’s just Kestrel Super

No one should drink 9.5% lager unless they’re doing it whilst sliding down the side of a derelict shopping precinct.

Or Youri.

Mentle.

I’ve got one day of lockdown left. If I can find it I’m having it.

Little Hulton has a shopping precinct I reckon. Go and sup it there.

Forget all that elderberry and grapefruit hues shite. Aldi scrumpy 6% £2.49 for 4 cans. I only noticed it was 6% this morning as I lay on my kitchen floor. Fucking hell.

Said “good morning” at Tesco this morning to a fellow poster.

He couldn’t hear me because of the clanking of bottles.

Is it in Italy where super strength lager is considered quite posh and to have with meals? Sure I read that Tennents Super was a classic drink (albeit, you only have one with a meal rather than a four pack followed by a litre of Frosty Jack)

Treated myself today, for some reason I’ve become a massive fan of those green Belgium lagers in M&S. Really tasty and pack a punch.

Also town centre here seems just to have been loads of scutters, today market stalls were out selling fruit and veg, M&S foodhall was very busy.... normal folk seem to be popping out for the odd bits and pieces now. Not just the big shop.

I'm currently jizzing about £60 a week in on wine/beer for me and the Mrs.

Pre lockdown i probably did £50 a week in the pub + £40 on supermarket booze.

Cheap as fuck boozing at home - can't wait for the pubs to re-open though, so i can kid myself i'm a "social drinker" :drinks:.

Just bought another slab of the aforementioned scrumpy and a litre bottle of cooking vodka (she mixes it with lemonade and blackcurrant). £30 ish including mixers. That's a Tuesday nip to local for a couple price. Belting. Although I do have to sup it with her chatting shit to me rather than some other cunt.

Seems to be pushing it for ale.

Cider on the other hand. Had chance to have a look around Cornish Orchards press and came through at 15% and they watered down with spring water to 8.4%.

When I pressed my own came out at 9% with no added sugar. That caught out a few .
