May 25, 20206 yr Named Super Cooper after a heroic performance at Blackpool. Went on to be a Bobby in Farnworth worked with my brother. My sister will miss him as she used to see him often whilst walking their dogs in Farnworth. RIP Charlie.

May 26, 20206 yr My neighbour was telling me about him earlier; as a kid he and his mates would cycle past his house shouting super cooper. Would need grapling irons and megaphone to do that now. RIP.
May 26, 20206 yr I remember him when I was a kid living across the road from him in Springfield Road, Farnworth. Even after he made it into the first team he still often came out into the street for a kick about.
