Heard Beale had an interview today and that Lowe stayed at hotel a few days ago, presumably for interview too. (Predictive text changed interview to intercourse I only noticed as I was about to press send)

By this time next week we'll have had a rallying cry from our new manager I think.

Beale might have had intercourse.

Staying in a hotel is sexy times eh?

They've already said they would pay compo for the right man.

All I can see that backs that up is this https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/18521509.bolton-not-ruling-paying-compensation-manager-search/ where the first line says:

"WANDERERS are not basing their manager search exclusively on candidates that are currently out of workThe Bolton News understands."

It's good to hear but it is vague and who knows how much money it would actually cost to buy them out? I feel like Evatt could be affordable but Lowe, perhaps not.

Maybe they're just looking at coaches that are in work, eg Beale, Reid.

Too much of a gamble. Fuck off.

They'll all be gambles at this stage, but I do think Evatt could be a Wilder type.

That's Wilder the manager, not a vicious fucker

I agree about the comparison and that’s what’s exciting for me.

TBF I think Wilder is ok, he didn’t complain much about the shit hawkeye decision and he’s proper innovative.

That’s why the idea of Evatt or Lowe is where we should be at.

Sick of old school fuckers being given another chance.

Very interesting interview, obviously got a load of qualities.  Whether that helps him get results in Div 2 is another matter, but he's got far more strings to his bow than just being a coach that's followed Gerrard around.  Liverpool was just one of the stops on his journey to Rangers.  If he ends up being manager I'll be disappointed on one level but would also be really interested to see how he goes about it.

Beale is at the age it’s now or never to become a manager. Gone the deluded Brendan route, gained his experience etc. If we were a bit more stable but gone rusty like the Neal/Rioch time, I’d give him a go. Would prefer someone who’s gone it alone before now even if only for a couple of seasons

Go on then, I'll bite. Why would a family man like Lowe stop at the hotel risking infection when he has a house within 1/2 hour????

They are not details I requested clarification on from my third-hand source. Maybe he went bangin?

So many ‘great  coaches’ but shit managers...

Mclaren, Paul Clement, Kidd, Phelan... Sammy Lee.

We need a guy that is innovative but the players respect... Wilder, Cowleys, Evatt???

He did similar when Wagner left Huddersfield and when they got relegated

Launched a chair afterwards too! Had a major rant at German FA.

Seems easy I suppose to say on paper right play these last 9 games plus finish FA Cup in 6 weeks or so but it could really rinse some of these players.

Michale Beale seems like such an exceptional coach that if he was interested I think I'd be willing to take the gamble.

I can't see that he would be, though.

You’re having a laugh?

We need somebody with a knowledge of lower league players. And man management.
