snowball Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 Get Lowe in and watch him reassemble best bits of his Bury promotion team. Now thst would proper piss off the bucket shakers. Or am i just being vindictive? Quote

Biggish Dave Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 As long as I enjoy watching a few games and not go expecting to lose every week, that will be an improvement on 6 of the last 7 years Quote

Anyway, I certainly wouldn't want him, but I don't see how that puts me on an intellectual pedestal.Ā Only a matter of opinion when it comes down to it. Quote
Blondi Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 I voted for Clough too, mainly down to his experience, does that make me thick? Quote
Farnywhite Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 We wonāt be getting Ā clough while he is one of the favourites for the brum job . Chris hughton should get it though best candidate by a mile . So it could be a case of waiting to see whatās left after Birmingham make there mind up .Ā yesterday I was edging towards this guy from barrow but after thinking about how Hill struggled with the scrutiny he was put under with being used to life at Rochdale . As there been a manger from non league who as moved straight to a club a similar size to Bolton and made a success of it ?Ā Quote
frank_spencer Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 Chris Houghton can come here if Brum don't want him. This longer summer break means there's less pressure on a hurried appointment. Like many have said I just don't want it to be a slog going to the games anymore Quote
Marc505 Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 I read Lowe's Wikipedia page about his style of play and I don't know if his mum wrote it for him but I'm fully onboard with RLSWA now. Quote
BWFC_LOVE Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 (edited) Not feeling the love for Clough. Iād say heās regarded as a failure outside of his admittedly successful stints atĀ Burton. Definitely have LoweĀ as my no. 1 target. Two back-back promotions at this level (albeit on a decent budget) and talks a good game. Would be happy with Evatt too. Iām delighted that despite heading into the fourth tier,Ā the footballing worldĀ still appears to see us asĀ an attractive proposition. There are some good candidates in the list, even if bookies odds mean absolutely nothing in the grand scheme.Ā Edited June 18, 2020 by BWFC_LOVE Quote

lofthouse Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 If Lowe is out of reach for us, there is not one name mentioned better than Simon greyson. He took Leeds , Huddersfield and Preston to the championship, also when he arrived saved Preston from certain relegation. Ā Went to Sunderland for 4 month !, Bradford and Blackpool for a few month ,all these clubs were in the shit . He is only 50 year old...in his prime as manager.Ā Quote
