People ring up saying can we come? They won't say no, they just emphasize the rules but add they won't be checking if you're playing by them

We went out tonight to a steak house it was rammed but well organised if you get me likewise obviously mixed households

Got some clobber yesterday the owner said to me he’s not enforcing the masks and you can try stuff on as he knows most wouldn’t buy otherwise 

Theres a bar opposite schloss with a big digital sign over the door saying

Youre from one household

 

We went for a mid range meal and two bars and nobody cared...6 from 3 homes which tbf is acceptable if youre outside

Few weeks ago, before pubs opened proper, Strawbury duck were serving from that outdoor bar they've got. I'm guessing it was some sort of "take out" loop hole they were using. Anyway, I made the mistake of walking up that way on a sunny Sunday afternoon, there must of been 150 or more folk there, as I got there 3 coppers were telling the inevitably gathered crowd they need to disperse. One of the coppers saw a lad he obviously new and give him a hug 😂

shop workers arent asked to wear masks

Slipping one on for half an hour is a bit different than having one on for 8 hours

It’s simply not the same down here - I was in a corner shop the other day and I was the only one (of four customers) wearing one. Numerous people in Halfords not wearing them either when I was in over the weekend.

Precisely the same in Scotland.

Obviously don't wear one when in an eatery or a pub. Precisely the same in Scotland. 

 Perhaps there may be a difference in big towns or cities in both nations with a higher cunt percentage, I don't know. It was also noticeable that a couple of locals i discussed the situation with were no fans of nicola sturgeon, but were more than happy to go along with the guidance.

So, in conclusion, yes, its largely people being twats.

If you need one you need one, otherwise its all bullshit. We've had kids out of school for months but now it's been decided they need to be back in school we're conveniently told there's no evidence they spread covid! There's precious little evidence of anything if truth be told.

I think it’s just been taken more seriously up here From my own experiences both sides of the border. I do think krankies messaging has been crystal clear though and very little dubiety. Missus was in a bar Saturday and the council were in doing spot checks of COVID measures etc to ascertain compliance. 
 

we’ve very limited cases up here now and the majority wish to keep it that way and the associated freedoms that come with it. Masks I would say are 95% + Up here with 14-25 years olds not giving a fuck and your general scutters and not rights also not complying. 

I’m not having it they make a blind bit of difference.

News at 6 before, reporting effect on R rate of various measures. Kids going to school expected to have an increasing effect of up to around 0.3.

Ferguson saying last week it is risky and kids could be superspreaders. Media reporting different scientists and different views. 

For me, its still a science in development so best to go with the guidelines and if they change as evidence directs, so be it.

Lads holiday club has a confirmed case in one of the other rooms, still opening. 

Daughter's nursery has been open since June 1st and they've been OK.

Whether I ever wear them matters not a jot. I’ve chucked in a few quid for many a cause on here and this one rings a few bells for me
