Short memories. Friendlies after an intense end to the prem.

Won last game, and could win this. All while experimenting.

A full season to come, followed by euros.

Not time to panic.

Spot on.

Salford & Pompey playing before they've even played last seasons final! Ridiculous

It’s not pointless as it’s linked to World Cup qualification and with the euros postponed next year will be packed already

aye, it's certainly a lot better than having friendlies

I've never rated him or the football. He shouldn't have got the job.

In fact, Sam should have never lost it.

I agree, never rated Southgate as a manager and I don't rate England's players either. Southgate is a cunt as well for making a pizza ad out of him fuckng it up in the Euros when he was a player

There was an outside chance Sam could do a Greece and win  a tournament with average players but no chance Southgate would

Southgate is a “yes” man and perfect for the FA.

All about ticking boxes

Absolutely.  Get rid of this and we're back to meaningless friendlies.  This is by far the better of the two options.

Shouldn't be beyond the wit of man to look at the qualification set up given the pandemic

Southgate clearly experimenting and it doesnt appear that the world cup is prominent in his thoughts.

Just for this time. Agree generally, but at the moment it seems meaningless.

It might seem it, but it isn't. As said above it's linked to World Cup qualification.

I know, see above. But if it isnt being taken seriously, and treated like a friendly then it makes a mockery of the idea.

As the old duffer in work says. too busy picking lads from west ham because they won the world cup and playing a lad who wasnt good enough last year but now hes been promoted he is straight in.

I also like the group D set up which means Andorra and San Marino get to play some competitive games where they might score, draw or even win occasionally

He's done something.

Starting lineup genuinely made me a bit depressed when i saw it 😂

Our back 3 are better than England's

You can never have enough RBs

Can’t get into this at all

It’s hard enough watching Bolton with no crowd

Just not seeing the point of both Henderson and Rice.

Grealish was good the other night, may have showboated a little at the end, but he's certainly creative.

Grealish is quality

rice offers nothing for me

I think Grealish for Rice, Sancho for Mount and Kane for Cal-Lewin would improve us massively in 2nd half
