I know what you're saying, but if we lose the first 9, nobody will want to give him the 10th game.   So he doesn't have 10 games before he has to get a point or score a goal or look like the better team for half a game.  I don't know how many games he's got, but it isn't 10 and that's not an anti-IE comment, it goes for all 100+ professional managers, nobody gets to lose their first 9 and survive.

Can't see us losing our first 9 personally but I think he'll get at least 10-20 games considering we spent 200k on bringing him here

All players need to be super fit, to press the ball to be constantly on the move. We just aren’t there.

Possession penetrating football takes years to form a DNA. and a blueprint. It took Ajax, Holland, Barca, City years to get there and yeah we aren't them but you can see that’s the foundations IE is trying to lay down.

We need to focus on the basics , be tough to beat, play football when we can, go direct when we need. 
 

I Hope we still get behind IE and the lads because I believe we will come good.

Agree - players don't look fit enough yet to press at high intensity all game.

It's a shame we've started so poorly but think Evatt will succeed in time.

From what ive read, we might make about £15k from i-follow per away match. No idea what we'll get from home, probably less I bet.  Half a million a season maybe. Who knows.

If you can’t see us losing our first 9 then it follows that you CAN see us winning or drawing one of the next 6 games. Pray, tell which one that’d be because I’m buggered if I can see a point if IE insists on this defensive formation with defenders who look like they’ve never played football before.

I'm behind Evatt & know if he can sort it out we will be entertaining to watch but what worries me with playing around at the back is that even the top teams get caught out occasionally with international defenders.... How the hell do we get big donkeys like Santos to do it without conceding bucket loads? I'd prefer us to concentrate on teaching our defence that playing statues in our own box isn't conducive to getting results.

Well you must be even older than me , but you are not far off .I am struggling to think of a worse set of players given that even in our darkest days we had a few who could play
