Nope, like most of the others.

Agree, but the coaching staff have never really been able to develop a player at any level.

Played once for us, loaned to Chester, played a handful, then left. Joined Warrington in 2015. Disappeared.

Mooy wasn’t identified as a talent and fucked off.

Danny Ward was one of the better players, but never really did much at any club.

One of the best youth teams we have had and very few of them “made it”

 A bit harsh on Ward that.  Considering he hardly got a mention while he was here, he's had a great, consistent championship level career.  Normally top half at Cardiff and Huddersfield (also Rotherham).  Scores half a dozen a season consistently too.  Being relatively local I always wonder if he might end up back here one day, good player.

We were in the prem. He wasn’t and never will have the ability to perform at that level.

Just another player who wasnt good enough.

Lots of our legends weren't upto Prem standard.  McGinlay, Walker, Kelly, Lee, Branagan, ALF etc.  Ward could have been a top player for us if we'd kept hold of him another year or 2, he wasnt a Prem player as you say but more than good enough once we went down soon after (but at least we signed Rob Hall and Steve de Ridder instead).

I dont think the clubs aim would be to keep a player, incase we go down 🙄

I thought he did ok with the chances/ games he got. 

Him wanting away to Australia kind of spoiled his own chances with the team. Were we're too nice to him,  ripping up his contract to allow the move?  He was certainly missed.

Not suggesting that for a minute.  Just reacting to a comment that he simply wasn't good enough, when he was on a similar level to many players we look on as legends.

His job is no longer there, i dont particularly like him, he has made a good living while working for us

Hopefully he finds employment soon

Yeah, I thought he'd left last summer.

David Lee was a great servant to the club, I for one will always fondly remember his performance against Liverpool in the F. A. Cup where was vertually unplayable that night.

At managerial level Rioch can be added.Legend at Bolton for his work in the 2nd and 3rd tiers but in 2 seasons managing  at the top level he was relegated at Middlesbrough  and sacked by Arsenal

He was brilliant that night but it wound me up how he only really seemed to turn it on when the cameras were there. Supporters of other clubs always thought he was our main man but he's a fair way behind some others from that era for me.
