These guys are brought up and educated believing they have the privilege to govern and cannot accept a federal committee taking part of this way from them. What utter guff. Fucking hell, one party agrees to uphold a democratic decision of a majority, but that's just pandering is it? You are correct in a sense that there are insecurities within any population. It is the responsibility of government and politicians to listen to and try to remove these. Whether it be jobs, immigration, looking after old folk, the environment etc. Funny how when these insecurities lead to the leave vote, they are sneered at as being somehow trivial by those not in agreement. Its bonkers: years on and its the same old dismissive attitudes and contempt. What led us here in the first place.

Moreover, politicians from both parties were split on leave or remain, with a lot of "working fellas" also wanting out. Age old us and them arguments were blown away by the decision. Dimron
I understand that we are a Parliamentary Democracy not a Populist one. Referendums belong in Populist Democracies not Parliamentary, in a constitution such as ours they provide a sounding board but its for the Parliamentary Members to do what is best for the Country. It appears to me that most of the decisions since the referendum are not for the betterment of the United Kingdom's economy and security, particularly the Irish issues. Why are we further stressing the economy at a time like this? It looks like a major act of self harming ideology, hence my comments about it being about those who believe they have the privilege to rule making their stand. The PM was voted in because people thought he was funny and likeable, like most con-men when they are raiding your life savings.
