IE is the right man, he needs a full window to bring in his own players and get rid of fringe players

When it’s good it’s great to watch, today it wasn’t but the players should be held accountable more than IE, most of them couldn’t pass water today never mind the ball!

His best XI is a match for any  team in this very poor league.

Makes the running off the pitch at half time look ridiculous.... Its the fastest some of them moved all afternoon!

Replace hysterical with pissed off. Speaking for myself I'm seriously pissed off. We had a great away win after last weekends fiasco. It was tbe highlight of the season. Then we get served up today's performance against Tranmere of all teams. Choose your words carefully.

Sadly I think you may be right here re the 4K.

People are creatures of habit.

They have found new things to do (or not to do) as the case may be.

Their local has closed down, they have new friendship groups & interests. Maybe a lack of cash due to redundancies/furlough and the realisation of how expensive football is, has truly kicked in.

The top PL clubs will not be playing in front of capacity crowds neither, when society eventually does re-open.

Thats karma for me.

On a more positive note, the 18 year old kid in the middle could be a real find.

I don't think they were advocating full on decapitation. If they were then I would agree with you. I can't remember a run of results, like the last 3 we have had, in all the time I've watched Bolton. I still put it down to folk being pissed off rather than hysterical.

This is the problem, absolutely no variation on the theme. Now I'm not a football manager but pretty certain you can set up a fundamental 3 5 2 formation in different ways, or change it if not working out, but Evatt doesn't? So he either doesn't see it or his ego is too big, and this is a problem. And no amount of transfer windows will help him with this is my concern.

It's lost in the mists of time but pretty certain Allardyce used to have us playing a 4 5 1 or 4 3 3 dependent on opposition, I certainly remember wondering how he would 'set us up' against the better teams so it clearly changed week on week.

Evatt is a young manager and hope he comes good, but he has got to become more pragmatic at times to let him and us progress.
