Suspect arrested after eight people, including six Asian women, were killed at Atlanta-area spas

Eight people, including six Asian women, were killed in shootings at three different businesses in Atlanta and Acworth, Georgia, on Tuesday, according to local police. A male suspect was arrested and charged with several counts of murder on Wednesday, police said. At a press conference in Atlanta on Wednesday, authorities identified the four victims killed in Cherokee County.

how would it know when a threat is real?

can't imagine the timescale from someone spouting off on SM to having a cop go out and find them (assuming they aren't at home and have already gone out to kill) will be enough to avert a tragic ending

imagine if every police force got a warning when someone said they were going to do something bad

Away from America, I’ve just watched Terror at The Mall, a documentary film about the terrorist attack on a shopping mall in Kenya. 3 1/2 hours before the police and army entered. They ended up shooting each, retreated, then waited 24hrs before blowing up the mall 🤦‍♂️😂 a decent watch. 

Read this snippet yesterday on Popbitch and it's true: In Texas it is illegal to own more than six Dildos, but you can own as many Guns/Rifles as you like. What a fucked up place and what a bizarre law in the first place. Who thinks this shit up ?

How does an 18 year old who earns next to fuck all and lives with his grandma afford a rifle and 1600 rounds of ammunition. 

Do they get guns and ammo on finance or summat. 

At 18 I could just about afford a night out in Ikon

You make a good point, you can pick them up for $500 apparently. So he spent at least a grand on the weapons and I bet ammo isn't cheap.

What is mad is that at 18 in Texas he could buy an AR-15 but not a hand gun (federal law is 21) or a beer for that matter.

I heard a brief excerpt yesterday from the NRA conference. The language being used struck me as being clever and manipulative.
