Eight people, including six Asian women, were killed in shootings at three different businesses in Atlanta and Acworth, Georgia, on Tuesday, according to local police. A male suspect was arrested and charged with several counts of murder on Wednesday, police said. Sadly, we may actually need to choose a side at some point.....the next 4 years could actually be really critical with all the current global turmoil. The Donald could be the cause, or indeed the prevention, of a lot of heartache globally during his up coming term.

I think we'll soon find out, as the Ukraine/Russian spat is the first thing on his list to "fix" and I'm sure he said that would be done in 24 hours of him taking office......plus of course his recent threat that "all hell will break loose" if the Israeli hostages aren't returned by the time he takes officer (and they won't be)......never mind his ridiculous statements regarding Canada, Greenland, Panama Canal and the Gulf of Mexico America.

It's going to be a busy/entertaining couple of weeks coming up

The most that will happen in the next 4 years is that Greenland may take further steps to move away from Danish control.

Despite Greenland being clear they don’t want to be part of the USA, Trump will spin it somehow in his favour eg taking credit for helping them take steps toward autonomy, it it being the first step to US control etc.

I don't doubt it'll speed up their "independence" process, and fair play if that's what they want. I also agree with you, that Trump will claim the credit once they achieve it.

I suspect Greenland will do very well out of it now though, no matter what happens

Another idiot. Seems to be the norm these days that folk listen to this over reason and rationality. 

The evidence is there in clear sight that it was extreme weather events. There was the extreme rainfall that caused the huge growth in vegetation, followed by the extreme drought which turned it all to tinder. Which also meant there has been limited supply of water.

There have always been wildfires and other natural disasters. But it is without that they are becoming far more dangerous and regular because of climate change. And this is only the beginning. Economies will struggle to cope with the cost of it all. 

Yet folk vote for politicians with their head in the clouds who think it's all a conspiracy. Maybe when our food supplies are impacted people will start realising, but it will likely be too late by then.
