So would I, but it can't plausibly be claimed his cognitive decline isn't worse than Trump's

No he does appear to be struggling. But I still think he does a remarkable job given his age.

I'd genuinely rather save a senile Biden shitting in his own kecks than Donald Trump firing on all cylinders.

I still reckon the former would do less harm.

Sounds like you've seen one of the editted clips I'm referring to. He was sitting down, not shitting himself.

It has always baffled me how a country the size of America can't find a couple of suitable candidates to run for President, there must be some who are capable and not one foot in the grave

They probably could but tradition means the Dems won't replace Biden as he's a sitting president standing for his second term. The GOP are in the thrall of the Trump cult so any 'sensible' Republican candidate stood no chance in the primaries.

Biden should probably have stood down and allowed a selection process for his successor.

Wouldn't you think that each party would have somebody ready groomed to step in instead of allowing the president to work himself to his dying day

You'd have thought the dems would have put somebody foward who at least isn't one step away from a zimmer frame and a bib. I have to look away when he starts doddering about with a vacant look on his face.

That said he's the current President so maybe unusual to deselect him and show to the Republicans they have no trust in him

perhaps they still see him as their best bet, given he beat him last time and he's generally well liked and popular (well he was prior to the last election)

and even if he's too old and doddery (which he clearly is), he's probably still the best choice given he's not currently been found guilty of fraud

For the Dems that'd be the Vice President so Kamala Harris.

The Republicans had their selection process and still went with Trump.

Much like labour and Starmer he's rubbed the left of the democrats the wrong way but I think come election time they'll hold their nose and vote to keep Trump out again. Whether enough of them do to prevent a trump win will remain to be seen.

You know full well that she would be unelectable to the majority of the US electorate. Openly admitted that she is a communist. The Dems want her but realise that the only way she is getting the top job is by being VP to a walking dead president who might depart at any moment.

If The Don doesn't win this time around (or has it stolen from him), the next Republican candidate will be someone else. De Santis? Ramaswamy?

Utter bollocks from the bloke that needs more fact checks than a Joey Barton tweet

She tweeted a video about equality of opportunity and the right got all McCarthy on her about what she was really propogating state funded equality of outcome and therefore is a Communist and Marxist.

Pound to a pitch of salt, Bolty has never seen The Crucible.

Read above....

The US constitution - a President can only serve 2 terms, is that consecutively or in total, does anyone know?  ie if Trump wins, we've only got 4/5 years of comedy and disaster or potentially 9 or 10?

2 in total so only 4/5 years of trump madness unless he wheels out one of his kids to succeed him.

Looks like he’s eaten a jar of bees for his tea today
