April 13, 20215 yr Now we have won can we ask what the fuck Doyle and Lee were doing with the chance in the first half when Isgrove headed the ball back across ? Silly fuckers 😂😁

Also we did feed them with a couple of players in the 60s and 70s, Ralph Gubbins and Syd Farrimond. Oops Ralph Gubbins had a couple of seasons at Hull before he joined them. Newport & FGR can reach 80 points if they win all 6 of their games. Exeter, 78 at the most Carlisle, 77 at the most Its in the fucking bag 😁 Win the next 3 and it's done.

April 13, 20215 yr Wonder if G Neville posted this? Outshot them. Out-attacked them. Out possessed them. Denied a nailed-on penalty by a ref who seemed to react every time Evatts jumped off his bench and screamed. Then we lose to a goal from what seemed to be a cross. Still, we did learn that Doyle isn’t the striker we thought he was. He has only 3 goals more than Henderson. Apart from a couple of early chances, we got the measure of him and kept him well quiet. To be fair, GB has turned us around, but he can’t change the players. Lack of a decent striker has likely cost us promotion this season.
April 13, 20215 yr Yet they've not scored a goal against us in 3 hours of football and they've not taken 1 point off us.
April 13, 20215 yr Salford have never won a League game after conceding first. (obviously mean big league) (from some thing I just read no idea if that is true or not) Edited April 13, 20215 yr by Ani

April 13, 20215 yr To a man, every single player worked their gonads off and put their bodies on the line. absolute pleasure to watch first half, only criticism being not scoring enough. second half, outstanding defending, pressing and game management. (Although the second half seemed to last days) an all round brilliant performance.

April 13, 20215 yr Anyone else notice the state of the dugouts? Artificial turf for the home dugout and fourth official, but the away dugout was a right mudbath. Can only imagine how much Neville would be scriking if the boot was on the other foot.
April 13, 20215 yr Tin pot twats that pitch was atrocious. Must have been a few Bolton milling around outside mentioned by their commentators
