Meanwhile in Israel

Is it kicking off big time or is this just everyday stuff they deal with or a bit of both?

So if they are starting after 11 and going nowhere near the cenotaph and it’s not even the same day as the actual service, what’s the problem?

Only figures I can find from 2012/2022 says 850k ish per weekend.

If I could be arsed I’d add up this weekends. But I can’t so I won’t.

I do get your point though.

If your source is saying 850k fans are getting arrested every weekend then I strongly suggest you find a new source .

That would be silly  😃

850k attending

Because everyone won’t magically arrive at the cenotaph at 11 then magically disappear at 2 mins past 11.

The point we are trying to establish is how many were arrested.

I dunno. But proportionally it makes a difference if it’s a percentage of millions as opposed to 850k

Does anything happen at the cenotaph at 11 on a Saturday?

Depends if you want to add Scottish teams and non league teams, it will be over a million. Not quite million’s but a lot more than what marched. But as I pointed out in the bold part, how many were arrested as that’s the comparison he was making.

Last season the average Premier league attendance was just over 40000.

That's 400k in the prem per weekend.

Therefore 850k for all leagues seems reasonable, there are also non league games, too, that require policing.

How many arrests amongst all of that- not a clue.

The common approach of trying to draw equivalence to justify a point.

A very weak argument in that actual attendees are markedly different. Put the differing policing approach on top of that and it's plain daft.

Why would they and you need to mention it if it doesn’t?

That 850 was top six leagues in England. Didn’t include Scotland.

Aye I know. I was trying to be helpful😃

If the service is on Sunday, what happens there on the Saturday?

I agree with you by the way, be miles easier if they just had it next week.

I’m sure they have a couple of mins silence there tied in with the Lord Mayors show.

Surely requesting that the March be postponed, because anyone with the slightest bit of common sense can see that the right thing to do, is looking after the British people?

Nah.

We can all see the level of hate being spouted at these marches, but it isn't permitted to describe it as such. Instead, it has to be blown into something bigger by the usuals. Acknowledge nothing of the bleeding obvious and look to shift focus and apportion blame elsewhere.

The LM show has nowt to do with Armistice Day and takes place in the City of London - just an FYI.

Its also a decent day out if you have little kids.

What I'm seeing at these marches are people of all faiths protesting about the indiscriminate slaughter of children.  I can't think of a better day to protest at the Governments refusal to call for a ceasefire fire than Armistice day. Lest we forget and all that.

The police shouldn’t need political pressure for this, common sense would help. If common sense isn’t applied then it’s right for the government to get involved.

your common sense aint my common sense

I’m not interested in your common sense, and I doubt anyone on here is. It’s more to do with the police. People keep mentioning football. Why do you think the police and the FA get together to work on fixtures? Why don’t city play at home at 12 and united at 2?

It's about her language - describing it as a "Hate March". Certainly there will be some cunts amongst the thousands (as there is at any mass gathering), but to extrapolate that in order to vilify every single person in attendance is an utter disgrace, and potentially dangerous.
