Feeling low

Any tips on how to stop being a miserable fucker and cheer yourself up?

Don't say go to the Dr cos mines a dick. Lockdown, work, not seeing your mates, and a number of other things have contributed to me realising this isn't normal and I'm no fun to be around.

Can't even have a fucking drink.

Get yer rabbit out luv 😉

Alternatively have a root through some of the classic threads on here. More than one has reduced me to tears of laughter.

Talk to someone about how you’re feeling. Probably help you to understand why as it’s not always obvious speaking from my own experience.

Usual suggestions won’t work given your with calf at the moment 😁

keep your chin up though you will be back to yourself in no time

Or post pics of your udders squashed up against the shower glass on here and we can all Vote on them. That should help cheer you up. Defo worth a try

Don't let it lie if it carries on.

Despite your views your gp is there for such things, especially at this time.

Any colleagues you can open up to?

Get out with the dog too- just meeting fellow dog walkers and having a chat does wonders, especially in the morning, before you get going.

Apparently, chilies help with serotonin production, so eat some spicy food.

I like going the Ale House, it never fails to cheer me up with the bonkers folk who go in. Better than going to the cinema for entertainment.

I'm with TM on this. A dick or not your doctor should be the first point of contact. He will be able to put you on to someone who can help.

Sooner rather than later too. The longer this goes on the harder it will be.

I agree about getting out with the dog too. I'm less enthusiastic about the chilies mind.

Look after yourself.

Said this before, stop drinking, start exercising, walk in the country side & switch phone off,  make sure you get enough sun/daylight, take Vit D in winter. Book something to look forward to. Good luck. 👍

If you don't want to go to gp at least get on to the midwife about it especially if you're due to pop with sprog soon. If you're feeling shitty now need to be aware for post natal depression etc.

Keep the vitamin d going for me, unless it's not recommended during pregnancy.

Loads of folk just short of the stuff.

I've taken probiotic supplements too- work well, definitely feel better in yourself when your guts are on top form.

Try phoning up the Samaritans and threatening to kill yourself unless they talk dirty

Sorry. Hormones. I need to give myself a shake.

I'm at a very low ebb at the moment but I won't let it get the better of me.

Best of luck

When you calving?

Watching Warrington V Leigh tonight is soul destroying.

Short of being able to have a drink, I know exactly how you feel, it's fucking shite. The last 15 months have drained me and I'm just about keeping my shit together by reminding myself that things can't get any worse and better times are on the way.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but I fully empathise with your situation.

C xx

Hope you’re all ok, talking certainly helps, the door is always open To anyone if they need to talk, this community of people is great for it, we’re not just deviants

Love you buncha queers x

Buck up luv. Happy to help.

I was feeling a bit miserable at home but chirpy at work so I’ve decided to do some DIY.  I’ve lifted all the flags at the side of my house, dug out and ready for relaying them straighter than they was.  I’m quite happy with where I’m at and it’s boosted my confidence to do more instead of getting mates in.   I was digging out in the rain last night, it was quite a buzz considering it was clay after a inch, but if it looks smart at the end I might put a patio in.   Keep yourself busy by doing something you can look at and see your not as useless as you think.

you could raise a few quid for Bolton Hospice, that would make you feel better.   You could run a football card on here and whoever’s team gets picked gets invited round yours to ‘cheer you up’.   80 teams, £5 a go £400 for charity.   Imagine the excitement of finding out who the winner is, if your lucky and mucky it could be LW or Gonzo.

Thanks you bunch of knobheads. I've decided I'm having a no tears day today.

People have had enough of me 😂

I one drove into Bishop Auckland town centre had a mooch about and when i was relieved to see the motor was still there , i drove home feeling like a male model and Britain's wealthiest , best looking , luckiest geezer alive.
