I notice it’s taken McDonald’s to run out of milkshakes for it to actually cause people to lose their shit.

I read that 14,000 EU lorry drivers left jobs in the UK since brexit, and only 600 have returned.

Covid caused loss of tests to be cancelled.

it’s a good job being a truck driver. As you get more miles and experience you can demand higher pay. Some drivers earn a serious wage from It. I don’t get the fact folk look down on it. I love driving so might be different but if my industry/company collapsed and I needed to find work I would likely go and do that than start again.
I’ve got a class 2 license through work and would have done class 1 this year if I hadn’t changed jobs. Might come in handy one day 

I asked the lad the other day if he'd consider driving lorries- he surprised me when he said yes, why not!

Some difference from geology and geography, but at least he's keeping options open.

Both became LGV-C or C+E if it tows a trailer.
