I read that 14,000 EU lorry drivers left jobs in the UK since brexit, and only 600 have returned.

Covid caused loss of tests to be cancelled.

This week my trains have been bloody packed. Had to stand up again for the first time.

No fucker is driving from Shortlands to King's Cross unless they are a taxi driver.

Kinell you’re kidding? I got a taxi from unibol to my mums opposite welly on top Road and it cost 24 quid! Our kid got one from mums To his house in hindley green and it was only 30.

Taxi in Leeds couple weeks ago took us the scenic route through massive traffic jams and kept putting the waiting on at every traffic light.  I tried saying loudly to the mrs look what hes doing. He kept doing it so I said even louder something along the lines of what TMGJ said to do but it was with his head as the projectile. We got there and it was 13.20 plus 2.30 waiting. He charged me “just a tenner mate”. 😎

Demand for containers is outstripping supply by up to 20% at the moment.  Container ship turnaround times in China also causing huge delays due to COVID and too many empty containers in the wrong place waiting to get back to China.  
It’s worse in US where the delays at ports to discharge is weeks. I read that if you laid all the containers on those ships waiting to berth at Los Angeles end to end they would reach half way across the USA.

A lot of spares for heating systems are becoming very scarce.

Get your boilers checked now because a breakdown later this year could be really bad

I think we rely on the far East and in particular China far too much.

But, to change that will take a long long time.

A bit like Brexit and our extraction from the single market, you can't just suddenly open and expand new supply chains overnight.
