If your gonna play isgrove at right back you need to go 3 at back. The current 4 at back is going to get exposed without Jones, also take that white shirt of Brocky, he’s sadly not good enough.

Big transfer window coming up for FV, two years to get out of an embargo and not a penny spent. Lack of signings towards the end of the window now showing, squad depth is dire in places.

I'm neither defending or attacking him, but he did score a header v Oxford albeit back when it was warm and sunny.

Very poor second half. We should not be losing against poor teams like Portsmouth.

Our consistent failure to score in so many games is alarming.

This combined with the fact that we concede first in virtually every game puts us 4 points above the relegation places. 

Since Cambridge in August we haven’t even achieved a point a game.

We've got enough to avoid a relegation fight. Needs a result or 2 and soon though to ease any fears.

I don’t see it as a potential relegation battle, more a tweak here and there and couple of good signings in January, we are dominating Possession in most games just lacking a cutting edge, I’m sure we will be ok.

Not a bad shout about trying Johnstone at RB, but i’d go Santos & Aimson in the centre.

We're keeping our heads above water at the moment with enough clubs below us struggling to pick up wins, but that 4 point gap won't last forever.  The next 3 home games look potentially season defining - Crewe, Cheltenham and Doncaster, win those and we're top half, fail to win any and we're in a major slump.

Bolton 0 eight times in the last 12 league games.

Two clean sheets all season.

Problems at both ends.

Hopefully we catch lightning in a bottle again after January.

 

Disappointing result. Confidence is a bit low and we are really missing Jones. Hopefully we can turn the corner soon.

I see us struggling a bit until Jan , not sure we can pull last season’s trick as we’re in a higher league with more competition for available players.

in addition to incoming players we have some to move on & they might dig their heels in.

Look we all know 95% of our squad is L2 we need to amble on till January making sure we beat the likes of Crewe next time out

There are 14 league games between now and the end of Jan (most of last seasons mid-season signings didn't start playing till February, we can't assume any debutants in Jan).  There'll be just over a third of the season left.  We have to start averaging at least a point a game between now and then, and looking at the fixtures there are plenty of opportunities to pick up some wins, certainly upto Boxing Day.

We’re still outplaying teams but can’t put the ball in the net.

Johnstone's left footed.  If we're going to play a centre back at full back they at least need to be on their correct side.

TBH given how Baptiste was absolutely pivotal to our promotion last year, as important as anyone defensively, I'm amazed he's not been tried at right back.  Puzzling that Isgrove and Brockbank get in before him.
