Looking at a long girls weekend witht the girls in Albufeira. Close to bars and restaurants and not a shit hole. Im 35 now the 1* holiday apartments are a thing of the past. Anyone any recommendations?

Landed in Thailand this afternoon, landed , through immigration and paperwork checked, visa on arrival granted, registered with infectious disease control, collected luggage and pcr test on way out. 40 mins from off the plane to getting in the hotel taxi  4 hours later PCR result back and free to go enjoy the holiday  

would of taken at least 3 to 4 hours in UK and that’s being kind

i just spent 2 day's looking at a few places 

was not about the price 

don't like Flying so 2.5hrs  then i don't like sitting on a coach for Two Bastard hours 

so 30mins to 1hr tops 

then 4/5* sea view HB Adults  so no little Screming little Bastards 

i don't drink in the day and and only water with a meal So no AL

I’m guessing Phuket airport as BKK PCR results are not as fast.

Same experience for me in Nov. They are very well organised with their rows of chairs etc…..

I’m off to Patts for a month in May.

Aye Phuket. I’m in Bangkok in a couple of weeks but will be flying in via domestic obviously so won’t need the testing. 
 

pattaya will be busy in may I reckon. Guy who owns toy box, tony, on soi 6 is a mate of my cousins let me know if your me going in. 😎

The only place I holiday on my own is when I go to see our Loft. It's not a holiday destination really, there are only two bars on the kibbutz, a proper beach bar, and a small bar for tourist on the Israel Trail visiting the antiquities. It's a real having a rest place.

There's always someone willing to give a lift to Tel Aviv or one of the local towns for a supplementary pint though.

On a topical note, there are lots of older Russians on the kibbutz and apart from being loud I've always found them to be ok.

Mind you that's only for about 10 days every few years. And I don't have to work with them.

Yeah can opt for test and go now. Need to book 1 night accommodation in sha+ hotel. Test on arrival soon as negative result you’re free to go anywhere. Lat flow on day 5 but you do that yourself.

Planning on declaring covid endemic in July over here so at that point all testing should go so you should be no issues.

All great places  if you like or ever fancied scuba diving get the boat from samui to koh tao and do it there  great for beginners and a lovely little island as well

 koh phangan in between for a full moon party
