Farnworth Social Circle's professional, a West Indian lad, put in a sublime performance and was taking Horwich RMI's bowlers to the cleaners. Unfortunately, approx 3 or 4 runs from the end of the game, one of Horwich's lads thought it acceptable to call him a "fucking monkey".

July 30, 20224 yr Doesn't sound like it, if he's been allowed to skulk off, but I'm surprised. Some of Farnworth's finest have been known to be running off a short fuse, and I'm sure cricketers are no exception.

It only happened a couple of minutes before Stuart hit the winning runs, so it was an ideal time for him to slip away while the FSCC lad were celebrating.

I spent a day at Bradshaw sat within speaking distance of his dad. After I’d passed a comment to my brother he shouted across something along the lines of, “You know fuck all about it!” I responded, “Maybe not, but at least all these kids have learned some swear words from you!” He spent the rest of the game chatting loudly to his group so all within 25yards could hear. At the end of the game he walked past and thanked me for “the great banter” What a prick! At least we know the acorn didn’t fall far from the tree.
