Think I am pretty lefty Liberal but if you kick off in an airport with armed police I would be thinking you either have done something bad or you are just about to.

Anything the Police do at that point becomes much fairer game than if the coppers do the same on a random high street.

All over the internet about the lack of immediate action regarding the Trump incident. A soldier was stabbed this morning. Imagine the copper just stood there to see what happened and the bloke turned out to be either a terrorist or mentally unstable.

The guy was disabled by an armed copper using a high degree of physical intervention but he did not draw his weapon  and 'pop a cap in his arse'. Sure full story will come out but I would rather they over react than risk the potential downside of under reacting.

Not sure anyone has said that is the reason, but Spider simply offered it as a possibility. No doubt plenty would consider that, given the situation we often are presented with.

Not really a big jump, especially given the amount of force being used.

I've just discussed it with an ex-copper, who said the officer on the clip is a "cunt" who deserves jail.

Can't be taking the law into his own hands, irrespective of provocation was his comment. Seems reasonable.

Take your point, and we must wait- but on viewing it seems the bloke is sufficiently detained not to require a boot to the head.

Going to take some strong evidence to make that acceptable.

Yeah once the guy is down on the floor he's detained. No need for sticking the boot in.

Coppers at the airport aren't your usual beat Bobbies either so it will have taken something to have it kick off like it did.
