  • Can not speak for @gonzo but coming back yesterday we ended up with one  of our seats double booked with a protester. We chatted most of the way back, I told him I  was not a supporter and he was fine

  • I just wish folk would stop producing bollocks information and spreading it. 3 kids have been murdered ffs and the first thing someone can think of is set up a fake twitter profile and post some

  • Anyone who thinks Starmer covered up for grooming gangs because he in some way thinks it’s ok, is off their fucking box. Hes a dull as shit, methodical legal cunt. Unfortunately, to get justice p

Seems like there are some decent Labour MP’s after all. Or has he been ‘radicalised’ by the far right?

Good on the fella.

The health Secretary will be shaking his head, but fuck him n all.

Hopefully a few more newbies will step up.

I'm not a politics man and for years on here seen posters moaning about how shit the tories are/were. Have Labour managed to turn it around? Must be something they've done given how shite the tories were?

I did read something about concert tickets ... that's a win isn't it?

Oh ... and are your lives a little better under a Labour government. Must admit ... seems the same to me.

Yeah but Elon Musk

Indeed. You're falling for it all over again pal.

Sophy Ridge was very good in her interview with Stephen Kinnock this week

Brave enough to detail some of the graphic nature of the rape and torture that occurred and pointing out the distinct lack of disciplinary action taken against the police officers, social workers, and councillors who let it happen

Every credit to her

This call for a new inquiry is all smoke and mirrors.
There was an enquiry very recently, which made several recommendations.

The Tories didn't act on the recommendations (quelle surprise!), but want the country to spunk more money up the wall on another.

Let's revisit the last enquiry and act upon it, eh?

Joe Rogan's "insights" blow your mind.

Ignore doctors and scientists. Listen to Joe.

Post truth now. Entering a frightening period for the world. But it will explode and correct itself eventually.

There is much playing of politics, and of course the Tories have no leg to stand on (although I suppose they did instigate the Grooming Gangs Taskforce)

The inquiry, though, was a broad inquiry into child sexual abuse in general rather than an inquiry grooming gangs specifically and therefore couldn't ever hope to delve into the scandal with appropriate depth

There can be no argument that the grooming gang scandal has been sufficiently understood when the people in authority responsible for allowing the abuse to happen face no consequences for their conduct, and no Prime Minister has ever issued a formal apology to the victims

I've heard it suggested that this may have been going on since the 70s.

Some further information since explaining how it may have all come about.

The new research that has been undertaken has blown the lid off the situation, making further, in-depth legal investigation imperative and unavailable.

No doubt plenty of those in politics, local government, police etc over the years will be worried, but tough shit.

Can't exactly rely on any police investigations at the moment for obvious reasons, so a legal procedure, with the power to force people to give evidence, seems the thing to do.

Doesn't stop any current recommendations from being acted upon.

Wonder why you weren't enraged about this 3 years ago, when those recommendations were made?  It's a real mystery.

You post your fair share of opinions about a range of political issues across this forum. And read the threads as well.

You're as political as the next person.

Correct.

Wants everyone to think he’s just an observer yet offers an opinion.

Sussed.

Remember: fuck all was achieved by the last lot. Doesn't matter what articles/evidence was ever shown, it didn't count.

Easy solve.

There were grooming gangs, the authorities didn't want to be accused of racism,

End of.

It's shit, it's not right, feck all we can do but learn from it and hopefully won't happen again.
