The difference is, the population of each country is similar, but Spain is vastly bigger than the UK. The health service and other services aren't at braking point in Spain. The roads aren't clogged up with traffic. Public transport is so much better as well in Spain. Spain has one of the fastest growing ecomonies in Europe. One thing it hasn't got is The Wanderers.

Eh? We do have angled flight decks? The US are actually flying aircraft off our carriers using the F35B variant we use.

But they are expensive and unreliable.

We should have gone with one carrier capable of F35A plus allied fighters and spent the rest on drone and laser defence tech.

They are all old school now anyway, AI and manless technology is the way. China going all in and I expect the US is also.

Russia technology is looking like chalk and slate in comparison, no wonder they are costing up to Xi and Kim for different reasons. China for advanced weapons, NK for cannon fodder.
