  • Can not speak for @gonzo but coming back yesterday we ended up with one  of our seats double booked with a protester. We chatted most of the way back, I told him I  was not a supporter and he was fine

  • I just wish folk would stop producing bollocks information and spreading it. 3 kids have been murdered ffs and the first thing someone can think of is set up a fake twitter profile and post some

  • Anyone who thinks Starmer covered up for grooming gangs because he in some way thinks it’s ok, is off their fucking box. Hes a dull as shit, methodical legal cunt. Unfortunately, to get justice p

Some of his views were as extreme and right wing/conservative as Islam.

He's famous by being good at debating kids at Universities and being big on tiktok.

Spreading extreme views on social media and promoting hate/polarisation/religious views to the masses is not good imo.

But saying he’s everything what’s wrong with America is a bit extreme. He does hold some very good debates, he was also very good at winding up Certain elements of society by doing very little. A skill in itself 😂 but Americas problems started and will continue well before and after him.

He certainly seemed rooted in a level of religious doctrine, that may have some parallels as you say.

Surely debating them in public though, gives opportunity to challenge.

I don't know the answer, but did he ever threaten folk on the basis of his beliefs?

That's where the parallels stop for me.

Violent extremists don't want to engage in discourse, and seek to destroy it. In that way, his executioner shares a more serious parallel with Islamists.

Oh he was great at debating.

But the fact that folk like him can be become so famous on the back of such extreme views and a fractured society is a bad reflection on our current times, especially in the US. That goes for the weirdos debating him in the first place.

Him, Andrew Tate etc etc. It's not good.

Why not debate him?

That has to be the best way of challenging his ideology.

If both parties are a bit weird, so what, leave them to get on with it.

Tate is a very different creature for me.

I hadn’t heard of him until yesterday.

Half an hour watching his videos and reading his output and I can’t say I’ve missed much.

Still no reason to kill the bloke, unless it furthers your cause of course.

Trump is really making a lot of it isn’t he?

Aye, me too. Read a couple of comment sections to his videos which were like a sewer of hate.

Which views were so extreme? I genuinely don’t know. Was he as far right as say Jeremy Corbyn was left or Farage right?

We shrinking violet types always attract such insults.

Genuine question to the both of you.....

I'm not on any socials and all I see of this Charlie fella is stuff posted on here. What is the lads cause, or movement he supports or general cut of his jib???

From the outside he looks like a grown man goading kids in balaclavas for likes on youtube.

He started out on youtube as a leftie, and used to make videos as part of a group called "The Love Police", where he'd attend left wing demonstrations and try to hug police officers. He featured on a BBC documentary about 9/11 conspiracy theorists, and by the end of the documentary he'd changed his mind and was no longer a conspiracy theorist. Then he disappeared for a bit because he had kids, until it turned out he was knocking his Mrs about, and got a Domestic Violence conviction and stopped seeing his kids. When he returned to youtube, he started pumping out anti-vaccine conspiracies, and harrassing vulnerable homeless people and drug addicts in Manchester, and now he's gone all in with the Far Right and Zionism, so he walks around with bodyguards, abusing people. Apparently, he's got a bit of a dodgy noncey history too, like taking a 15 year old girl to a music festival when he was in his mid-30's, and weird stuff like that.

Sounds like a nice chap

If he is a bit Noncey, then I'm sure the majority of Trump supporters will take him to heart

Anti Abortion and Anti LGBTQ for starters. All in the name of religion.

Joe Rogan...

Joe Rogan is just the presenter of the world's biggest podcast, UFC and owns a comedy club.

He went a bit extreme on his anti-vax stuff but he wasn't the only one.

Not in the same league as Kirk and Tate who seem to aim to brainwash.

My 14 year old knows all about Tate and Kirk, tiktok and the likes are loaded with them and their ilk.

Rogan is just as bad, if not worse - because he has a far larger mainstream audience. He spreads absolute shite unapologetically, and his podcast is nothing like it was when it first started.

Was it Kirk or Americas other far right 'debate specialist' Ben Shapiro that came over here not so long ago to debate British students and got made to look a fool?

Rogan has fallen in to the trap of courting the controversial guests to keep himself at the top of the podcast hierarchy.

He doesn't just court them. He usually agrees with them and promotes their batshit ideas.

Both.

Wouldn't say he agrees, I'd say he facilitates.

Douglas Murray called him out on it the other month. That was actually a decent watch.
