Nightclubs/footy etc all have to provide their own security and pass standards to carry on with their licensing.

Sure if was booting off every week at these gaffs they'd be forced to employ security.

These isolated murders aren’t evidence of ‘a hotbed of violence’. 
 

Extremist preachers - arrest & prosecute 

Racist attacks - security if under threat regularly & heavy sentences after.

Gang violence is happening everywhere. It isn’t being caused by mosques. We don’t sort it by popping coppers outside them.

Obviously it’s no excuse but it doesn’t help when we see clips of the utterly stupid decisions  being made regarding letting immigrants in. The Taliban one today for example amongst 100s (probably 1000s) of other ridiculous cases.

Agreed.  Have an (English) friend who lives in New Jersey.  I remember him saying in 2016 when Trump first got in, and the increase in hostile/racist behaviours started to surface over there towards migrants (legal or illegal), that Trump didn’t create that culture (it already existed) but he legitimised it so folks weren’t bothered about publicly expressing those views anymore.  It became “ok”. Same happening here a decade later. Depressing.
