The last thing we need is more religious nutjobs (or, in their case, pretending to be). On top of that, how would we incapable of movement types survive without access to Bonnie Blue, Cory Chase and Dolly Busters offerings? Quote

One of the group's leaders is Dominic Muir, a Tommy Robinson supporter who attended the recent marches in London carrying a 10 foot cross. He regularly talks about 'woke capitulation' bangs on about his opposition to COVID vaccines, and what he refers to as 'gender mayhem'. I'd be very surprised if other members of the group don't have similar leanings. So they do appear to at least have links with the far right. Particularly if you're of the belief (as I am) that that's where Tommy Robinson site on the political spectrum. Yes, there will be overlaps because they believe similar things on some issues Evangelicals of this type have been around for decades A lot of the African churches are like this too But it's not the far-right hijacking the church like you think it is Quote

Really insensitive and won’t do their cause any good whatsoever. I’m all for recognising Palestine and the two-state solution as the only hope in hell of achieving any sort of long-term peace, but show some respect for gods sake 🤦♂️. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1wgx5v90vyo Why would you think they concern themselves about sensitivity? I think it's becoming increasingly commonplace. I'm not talking about the CofE necessarily. I'm more taking about an uneasy association with religion and far right groups. And I think it's dangerous. Because the Right of politics was in charge back then so the rabble rousers behind the scenes didn't have an easy target to get folk foaming at the mouth. Now centrists are in charge it's easy to paint them as left wing wokies from the social media engagement farms in Russia and India. Bung a few quid the way of SYL, Ant Middleton, Reform PLC etc and sit back and watch the chaos. Quote

Ani Posted October 7, 2025 Posted October 7, 2025 My missus works doing viewings for an Estate Agent. Tomorrow she is showing a house on an estate on the Leeds/Bradford border. She has a page of instructions about how the house has to be made secure when she leaves. The family who lived there for ten years have been forced to leave as the house keeps getting attacked. They say the attacks are because some people on the estate do not want foreigners living there. The family are Polish. Quote
