Don’t think anyone has ever said he doesn’t run enough.

Even his biggest critics (which unusually I could be classed as) don’t doubt that as a squad player and certainly as a substitute he is useful. And I’ve said on more than one occasion that I’m happy if he stays because of this.

But I will argue with anyone that he’s shown plenty of inconsistencies when he’s started games. And I don’t get the argument of him not being played in his favourite position. That shouldn’t stop him passing straight, crossing, retaining the ball. He’s always looked pretty good and created and scored some goals when he’s come on as sub at LWB, just never really done it consistently and better than others in the squad to retain a first 11 place.

He doesn’t start the next game for me just because he got a late consolation goal yesterday. 

I would however move him up the pecking order of impact sub ahead of 
Kachunga.

Think there's been a bit of a 'whoosh' moment here. Pretty sure Johnnyrotten was making a playful reference to Kachunga.

We're on the same page on that!  I wouldn't start him either, because that would be at LWB which is as pointless as Dapo at LWB and just adds to the argument that he isn't good enough (he was awful at Lincoln in his one start of the season).  But he should be ahead of both Kachunga and the lightweight Sheehan, in any position - just my opinion, plenty will disagree. 

I also think he should interchange with Bradley more, I get why Bradley's an automatic choice with his energy and ability, but he's not infallible and sometimes looks spent, and can have poor games.  I'm just surprised he isn't subbed after maybe 70 minutes more often when not at his best, and let Sadlier try something different, yes less dynamic but better crossing and shooting from distance.

I was Cheese but more than happy to have the debate/conversation with a reasonable bloke like Desperado!

Condirms the point; can sign decent players on decent salaries, meaning the concept of them being managed better under big restrictions is bollocks, which 63 was using to bash Evatt.

the parking around Pride Park was plentiful but fucking hell, worse than Bolton for trying to get away. Then not helped by my sat-nav sending us through the city centre so it added about an hour to the journey home.

Hmmmm, I figured that would be the case.

A 10 minute walk towards the official car park or towards town suggested it'd be hard getting away, so I parked 10 mins walk away the other direction. Through the retail park and over the footbridge above Brian Clough Way. Nice little residential area, nipped through to the A38 and I was home by 7.15.
