In my opinion and it's just an opinion, we're a smaller club than Sheff Weds(not much) same size as Derby County, bigger than Ipswich and  Pompey. What we might lack in attendances to others, we

Derby like Rotherham did under Warne, just do the basics right, defend properly, no fannying about with Barca style build from back, put the balls into dangerous areas quickly and tests teams in danger areas, no surprise most league 1 teams can’t cope with it, we were another who failed miserably, must say if Stoke were watching Johnstone yesterday they’ll be no bid coming in.. if we’re looking for a proper CF on the cheap could do worse than look at Connor Wickham.

I knew he'd left FGR (replaced by Baka) but didn't realise he hasn't got another club yet.  No doubt weighing up a few offers but probably not restricted to signing during January as not currently contracted.

Dolt know if he’s injured but if not would be a decent signing.

Back on track Tuesday, no bother.

Exactly this. I'm over Derby already.

We were unbeaten & tight in defence for a good few games pre-Derby, a similar run needs to start again.

Derby similar to Rotherham, which has been mentioned on here. Warne is a fitness fanatic so goes without saying his teams are around the top as far as fitness goes, having said that Rotherham seem to run out of steam towards the end of last season, here’s hoping the rams Finnish the season the same way, see you at Wembley derby😁

Bold call!! But I like it.

No complaints, on the day, Derby shaded it.

We were a bit shaky in defence, didn't cope well with their press or McGoldrick & though it's early days for him, Williams struggled, especially defensively , Iredale is a miss when we're under pressure.

Dempsey & Charles put up a fight & at worst, Nlundulu is an upgrade on Baka.

Move on,I still fancy us to reach the play offs with a good chance of meeting Derby again......we'd know what to expect from them  whereas we can be better than yesterday !!

Conor Hourihan is probably in the top 3 players in this division btw.

Never in doubt that he’d finish in that position, great run and finish. It’s interesting cause I think we could get into that position but the header that set him up wouldn’t have been right, it’s that phase where we fuck up - good positions but can’t convert to a genuine chance.

Wonder how having 2 attacking midfielders Shoretire, Lee or Sadlier behind just the 1 striker would do. Might get more through  balls for Charles/Nlundulu.

I've wondered that before.

Perhaps yesterday was a game for a bit more defensive capability in midfield though- maybe those who went would have an opinion on that.

Still, yesterday wasn't a hig surprise, we got a goal, which might be valuable later, and now onto the next game.

Whyever we bought Sadlier remains to be seen but he must have one of the best goals to minutes ratios in World football.

Don't hit the panic button.

Our defence played well again but we have a weakness now on the left. Williams would have been an impact sub but has been chucked in at the deep end.

And we are a little light up the top now. All Kachunga did against Derby was confirm he isn't good enough. (even though he assisted).

Sadlier did more in 5 mins than Williams in 85.

Didn’t Dion assist

We're a midfielder and a striker short, but there is a lot more work to do in the summer

Feel like if we get to summer and haven't gone up then there might be a bit of a shake up.

In fact was listening to Iles podcast on Friday and he said similar, that they might have to have a rethink about how we're approaching things to get out of this division. What that would entail, he didn't go into.

I really hope Evatt doesn't react to yesterday by bringing Santos back in on Tuesday

You could drop Johnstone or Aimson based on yesterdays display, he’d be back in for me.

I find this a bizarre shout. Thought Toal was run ragged by Baukhazen but I’d keep all of them in.

Johnstone was all at sea yesterday shanked everything, and Mendez lang ran the show down our left hand side, Barkhuisen less so down Toal side of the pitch, Aimson to blame for first goal, all 3 weren’t at their best, whoever we play as back 3 Tuesday should be good enough though… great opportunity to get our best centre half back in the fold though.

I thought Aimson was unlucky with the opener, he had to get a touch on it to prevent the striker from scoring. He had to get that touch without conceding a penalty and it unfortunately went the wrong side of the post. The goal doesn't come if Randell cuts the cross out.

My live view was that traf was a bit off with his positioning and didnt think the striker would get to it

I didnt realise it was an og so i guess traf was right

Just watched it and if aimson doesnt touch it, i dont think they score

Striker has had his chance and not got there

So i think @Trafis being a bit generous

As ever 😉

Thought Aimson was best of the 3 to be honest, be unlucky to get dropped
