There's more chance of aggro but who gives a f??ck Speaking to an English bar manager in South France yesterday and he reckons that quite often, the police round up all of the away fans and put them in an area close to the stadium where there are quite a few nice bars - so you can drink to your hearts content and not get involved with any of the Marseilles riff raff! Last week, when Marseilles played Strasbourg away, the Marseilles fans ended up accidentally setting fire to one of Strasbourg stands with those bloody flares!! Should be interesting to see how the Reebok stewards deal with that!!

Nice is the main one nearby, but Marseille does have an airport, just not very big. Could probably get a flight to Marseille via Paris.

Same here mate to be honest. I'm over in Harborne (just South of city centre). Proper Pea Souper!! Blues game should be fine though as they're pretty much at the top of a hill.

I'm a couple of miles outside the city centre, so anywhere in the centre's easy to then walk/taxi down to the ground (10 - 15 mins).

Anyone planning on meeting up for a few beers somewhere in Brum before the match?? If so, where? (Feel free to PM if you're worried about loose lips!!)
