  1. https://www.liverpoolmuseums.org.uk/artoftheterraces This opens next week and definitely going to give it a visit. “This pioneering exhibition considers the culture of football ‘casuals’, which began on Britain’s football terraces in the late 1970s. Through the medium of art, it highlights the clothing brands and sports footwear, music and encounters between rival groups of football supporters which defined an era and generation. “
  2. Matty Taylor also serving the 2nd of a 3 match suspension on Saturday.
  3. Last night's referee on the way to the Premier League. - Daily Torygraph. Good riddance. The PGMOL wants to create a better pathway to the Premier League for its most promising officials, through its Elite Referee Development Plan, and are also providing a top-flight opportunity to Sam Allison, who will be the fourth official at Brighton versus Chelsea.
  4. Good news for The Lowry. The PFA will be able to afford Taylor's pension now.
  5. I went to Avondale last Sunday afternoon. I was the only one in. Mrs went to the Reebok this morning and it was rammed.
  6. Buxton are still in. 1000ft above sea level, capacity 4-5K but an artificial pitch.
  7. Colls Lost to Leek 3-0 but Pettifer the main man again.
  8. https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/22644570.bolton-wanderers-b-pair-finlay-lockett-arran-pettifer-extend-atherton-collieries-loans/ Lockett and Pettifer staying at Colls another month. Both have had 1st Team game time.
  9. Morley just strolling about. Sheehan just sprinted past him trying to chase after a Tranmere attacker.
  10. No one on the pitch making a case for being close to starting in the 1st 11.
  11. Dixon shocker, but midfield non existant
  12. In the BN, Evatt quoted as saying Thomason is undroppable at the moment, which will probably mean he starts on the bench and Morley plays instead.
  13. Not sure this is the right place, but the figures in here are staggering. Relegated clubs with £100+m. If we get promoted shows the scale of the challenge for FV in the Championship.
  14. Grivosti has returned from Yeovil. Odd one, had little game time.
  15. In +2. Noticed CTFC have only charged their fans £24 for advance purchases. £26 pay on the day (for home fans).
  16. Charlton only sold 600 so plenty of space in there. They may be in the top tier anyway. Suspect travelling numbers may dwindle with more rail strikes and cost of living.
  17. Went to the food festival this morning. Really busy and great to see the centre buzzing. Only 3rd time this year I've been in town. Some small signs of progress. Good to see the development on Chorley Street finished and not looking too bad. Also good to see the development near St Georges Road/St Helena Mill underway, old Post Office flats finished and new YMCA building also complete. Still lots to do though and they need to get this Arndale Centre/Crompton Place development sorted and then there might be somewhere decent to eat and I'll go in more.
  18. Pettifer and Lockett both started and played 90 mins in Colls 0-0 draw at Lancaster City today. No sign of Grivosti in either of Yeovils games this weekend.
